Internet Explorer & Firefox Favourite Manga n/a	I think in an episode it stated that Tien was part of a certain third eye tribe or, a decedent from them or something like that, I never really paid too much attention to it though.

It has shape-shifting/talking animals, mermaids, jiang-shi, vampires, mummy-men, wolfmen, witches, etc. Toriyama's version of "earth" is very different. He incorporated a lot of fantasy elements into his story. He explains Tenshinhan's third eye in an interview: "In certain parts of Asia, beings with a third eye on their forehead are thought to be god-like and are said to posses the power of true seeing. It seems that Tenshinhan, who was raised by the evil Tsuru-Sen'nin, lost the ability to use the myriad powers of his third eye for good purposes." Edited by Larxene, Apr 17 2009, 04:12 AM.
