Chapter 1: The Journey Begins (manga's 1-3 + Curse of The Blood Rubies) (Son Goku meets Baruma who is after the dragon balls, and the one Son Goku had is stolen by King Gurumez in exchange for a gold coin. They go off together to collect the other ones before King Gurumez, and encounter an Adamantoise who is named "Umigame", that belongs to Muten Roshi. while trying to help it find it's way back to the ocean, they are attacked by Kuma, the strongest Monster on the continent.) Part 1 * Son Goku goes into the woods to get some food. He ends up catching the biggest fish he has ever seen, but an unfortunate series of events, leading to other animals chasing him off a cliff, causes him to fall head first into the front of Baruma's Jungle Jeep driving at about 35 miles an hour. * She is fully armed and on the look out for monsters that she has heard of attacking travelers, so seeing a large fish head hit and crack her front windshield coming out of nowhere causes her to freak out. * Son Goku is ready to defend himself, but after she realizes that there is a little boy holding the fish, she starts trying to figure out where he is from and asks him about what he is doing in the jungle alone. They talk and exchange stories, and she convinces him to come with her and help her gather all the dragon balls. * Meanwhile, King Gurumes, one of the Kings who had inherited one of the dragon balls from Emperor Mifan, had been cursed because of gems called "Blood Rubies", which were recently discovered. They are found exclusivly underneath his city and the surrounding farmlands. He believes that only the dragons power can get rid of the Curse he has recieved from them (he is bloated with dark chi, and has an undieing hunger that causes food he eats to be converted into more dark chi, and he is now bloated with dark energy). He sends out some mercenaries to gather them and before Baruma and Son Goku could get back to the four star dragon ball, his servants, The Major and Raven, take it, assuming that Son Gohan, has either stepped out or is dead, and leave the Kings Royal Insignia to let him know it's an emergency from the King. Son Goku realizes it's been stolen when he gets back and Baruma pulls out an airplane capsule and they start chasing them, but when she starts getting fired at it turns into a air battle. They try fighting them in for a bit, but are outmatched and end up getting shot down. * Meanwhile, there are several other villains, all with their own form of a dragon radar, but where all patiently waiting for the day that they would be gathered and used, so that they could be the first ones to pick them up the following year on their rebound. Many are now assembling their forces for sweeping the planet after they are used, the Red Ribbon Army, The Crane hermit (he and Muten Roshi, fought for the right to be eternal keepers of the dragon balls before Emporor Mifan) the dessendants of the Garlic Family, and the once and former King of The Devils, Piccolo Daimao. this is becoming awfully competetive. Part 2 * after some time of driving toward the coast where the nearest dragon ball is, they stop to rest, where Baruma sets up a Poipoi Capsule for the night. therein, she feeds Son Goku a large meal (which he prefers over what he has been eating for the past few years, as opposed to his original reaction to it). she then teaches Son Goku about modern technology and the world in general. she tries to teach him as many "basics" she can, but he is actually not as ignorant as the original Goku, so she can cover most of it in the one night. Baruma tries to fix Goku's Hair and get him to bathe. "Hey, whats up with your hair Son Goku? Did you put something in it? It's as stiff as plastic!? It's like you poured glue in it for hair gel or something...." Son Goku just looks at her confused and asks a long, drawn out, "But my hairs always been this way....whats wrong with it?...." Baruma shakes her head and says, "never mind, lets just fix it. I wonder how you'll look once we get this washed...." she tries shampooing it and washing it for over a while, but it ends up getting even tougher. "WHAT THE!? HEY KID, YOUR HAIR ISN'T NORMAL!!!!" Son Goku asks "What do ya mean?" and looks in a mirror to see his hair is even more sculpted looking and less frayed than before. "WOW!!!! THAT LOOKS NEAT! What did you do to my hair to make it so nice?" Baruma just looks at Goku like he's from another planet "Kid, you got a long way to go to normalcy...." * Roshi's Adamantoise named "Umigame" finds their Poipoi Capsule home, and asks them for help, since he is lost. Baruma finds out that Turtle is Roshi's (Roshi is well known, and people know that he carries one of the Dragon Balls, but they don't know where he lives, and his Kame House is on the back of a young Zaratan Tortoise, so it's constantly moving.) and agrees to take him home. part 3 *on the way, they are attacked by "Kuma" who is a giant bear monster, centuries old, that has terrorized the area for the majority of it's life. Kuma is one of the strongest monsters on the continent (he is the same size as an Oozaruu), and Baruma jumps to conclusions, stating that it must be the monster that Killed Son Goku's Grandpa Gohan, since it's the strongest in the land. Kuma chuckles and says "yeah, I probably did, I kill alot of people when I'm looking for a snack." This infuriates Son Goku, and he attacks Kuma to avenge his Grandpa's death (so he thinks) and uses his ultimate technique "KAMEHA!" and focuses his chi into his palm and does a heavy palm strike on Kuma's forehead, with help from the Nioy-bo, but Kuma is Immensely stronger than he thought, and after recovering from the staggering blow, actually knocks Goku around for a bit, as Son Goku now feels almost powerless against him. * Baruma uses this as a chance to pull out her Super Weapon pod, but it's jammed and wont fire. just as things start looking tough for Son Goku, Baruma tells him to move out of the way, and she throws the weapon capsule while realeasing the button, making it a giant projectile (it ways a good 4 tons or so, it's essentially a tank, except it's just one weapon, and it's one of the strongest weapons that has been developed by Capsule Corp thus far). it hit's Kuma in the face, being thrown about as fast a professional base ball pitch, and exploding on impact. it knocks Kuma out cold, but they realize he is only down for a short time, so they use the opportunity to run. * as they get to the shore, Umigame still needs them to help him get back to the island, since it's constantly moving, so Baruma takes out a speed boat Capsule and they get there within a few hours. as Kame House comes into view, they can see an old bald man sitting on a beach folding chair, drinking something and reading a magazine.... Chapter 2: The Baby Sitting Begins (manga's 4-6 + The Curse of The Blood Rubies) Part 1 (Muten Roshi gives Son Goku Kintoun, the Flying Nimbus, in return for helping the Adamantoise Umigame. King Gurumez' servants attempt to retrieve Muten Roshi's Dragon Ball, and he in turn gets rid of them and then gives the ball to Son Goku in order to protect his own home from further assult. They go to a nearby town to get supplies before heading towards the Ox Kings Castle. There they meet Penny, a little girl trying to get help for her home town, under the tyrany of King Gurumez and they also meet Oolong, a shape shifter, posing as a monster in order to steal from the fearful town.) * Baruma and Son Goku meet Muten Roshi and tell him the dragon balls are being gathered again. He says King Gurumes isn't authorized to gather them with out the emperors permission, but that he knows it's a bad idea to let them be used again, since they will be up for grabs in a year after that. he says, "I'd feel bad if you came all this way for nothing, you did help Umigame get back home after all, so I'll give you Kintoun, the Flying Nimbus Cloud!" he extends his wooden cane for a few seconds, until a yellow cloud comes from the sky. "anyone of a pure heart can ride it, so here ya go, do with it what ya please....it dosn't let me use it the ways I want too...." he looks at the grounded, pushing his index fingers together. Baruma says, "well, gee thanks, but I have several different aircrafts, so it's all yours Son Goku." He hops on it with excitement and starts riding around the house in circles yelling "YEAAYYY!!!!!" (he obviously is still young and has a short attention span). * Baruma is trying to convince him to let them have the dragon balls, when all of the sudden, King Gurumes' Mercenaries start firing at them from a submarrine in the distance. The Submarine is actually firing a bunch of pods that are just going straight for the Dragon Balls and aren't going to kill anyone, but it looks like it's firing missiles from a distance. Master Roshi recognizes the Kings Insignia on the submarrine and says "What are they doing firing at us!?" Baruma responds "see! see! they want to kill YOU! you need to give us the dragon ball so we can keep it safe!" Son Goku looks confused and Master Roshi looks like he is in panic. Roshi says "just a minute..." * He yells "Immortal Fist!" and becomes grossly huge as his muscles reshape and his bones crack and starts glowing with chi. He blows away the Submarrine and all the missiles with a Kamehameha. Baruma is in shock, Son Goku is estatic "That was the Kamehameha!? Awesome!!!!" Roshi looks at him suprised, "you seem to have heard of it, but I'm not suprised, it's legendary." Son Goku replies "yeah, my Grandpa Gohan only taught me the first part, but I didn't think it would be that strong!" Roshi in excitement "do you mean Son Gohan!? He was one of my greatest students!!!! GRANDPA!?!? YOUR HIS KID!?!?! WHAT!?" Goku looks confused for a bit and says "um, yeah I guess?..." Roshi looks at the wasted submarine, then back at them "okay, here ya go." hands over the dragon ball, "I trust ya with it, but promise me that you won't use it to make a wish, just keep it safe" Baruma, suprised "why the change of heart?" Roshi, in frustration "BECAUSE I DON"T WANT ANOTHER SUBMARINE ATTACK ON MY HOME!!!! it's your problem now...you asked for it. I'm retired anyway. If your going to collect them all, you should see Gyumao King, he was one of my other students who was given a dragon ball to protect. Tell him I sent you and show him this dragon ball, he should believe you. Having the son of Son Gohan should help too." * Baruma gives him a hug, which he fully embraces....and prolongs until it's awkward "you can let go now....Roshi?" Roshi acting like he didn't hear her "what?" pauses "Oh, OH" slowly steps away and coughs "sorry about that, I just....havn't had a hug from a woman in a while" they both blush for a moment, as Baruma says, "well, we gotta go, thanks, bye!" Roshi says "come back by and vissit some time!" blushing as Baruma and Son Goku hop in a helicopter pod and take off. Baruma says to Goku "well, that was strange, lets go to the next one." she pauses for a bit, "actually we better head for the nearest town first and make a pit stop". she heads towards the town nearest to where Son Goku lived. Part 2 * When they get into the town, they notice it's run down, all the doors are closed, and there is nobody in the streets. Baruma, somewhat creeped out "what happend here? it's a ghost town....is this the work of that horrible Kuma monster?" then they notice a little girl with red hair and a baseball cap, knocking on a door in the distance. the little girl starts yelling "My name isn't Oolong! it's Penny! and I allready told you! I ran away from home because King Gurumes is destroying our home and took away my mommy and daddy!!!!" she starts crying in desperation. Baruma confused and trying to discern the situation, is sligthly hesitant to walk towards the center of the town where "Penny" is, but starts to work her way towards her. Baruma walks up to Penny and asks "hey little girl, what seems to be the problem?" Penny all teary eyed and looking suprised says "I DON"T KNOW!!! No one seems to be home except this person, who keeps calling me a monster!" she looks at Baruma and Goku and asks "Can you help me? I had to run away from home! the King sent all his army to destroy our town so he can get blood rubies. my parents said they thought he is possessed or something, but they've been put in the dungeon, and I don't know what to do!" Baruma thinks to herself "another kid in desperate need of a babysitter, why does this keep happening to me!? what do I look like, some sort of super nanny?" Baruma looks at penny and says "well get this figured out....I guess you can come with us for a bit." Penny teary eyed and excited "THANK YOU SO MUCH! but now what are we gonna do?" Baruma looks around and replies "first we gotta figure out whats goin on here...." she walks up to the door Penny was banging on. "look. whoever is in there, if you think were monsters or something....well thats just silly, but anyway, we just wanna know whats going on here. I need to purchase a few things, so could you at least tell me where I can go for that?" the voice of an old man behind the door says "but...wait there are more than one of you now? well, how do I know you just didn't pretend to be another person?! You can't fool me Oolong!" Baruma says in frustration "What!? who and or what is this "Oolong" you keep accusing us of being?!" the old man says, "I am not going to open the door, and there is nothing you can do about it!!!" just as he finnishes making his statement Goku punches his fist through the door. everyone is in shock except Goku. "SON GOKU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! You can't just brake peoples doors when they don't want you to come in!" the old man in utter shock says "well I'll be! there are more than one of you, so you were telling the truth......come in, quickly!" once inside, Baruma says, "whats all this about?" as the old man pauses and says "you picked a bad day to wonder into this village, Oolong is a monster that has been demanding us to give him what he wants on a weekly basis or he will destroy our town." Baruma, still confused "if he is just gonna pick up stuff, why do you all lock up your homes and accuse people of being him?" the old man says sadly, "because he can shape shift and he usually wants more if he sees something he likes, and I don't want him to take my daughter..." Baruma, Goku and Penny look shocked, as Baruma asks "what would he want with your daughter?" he replies "Oolong has already kidnapped several girls from our little town, but we don't know why. we have no way to defend ourselves against him, and normally the King protects this town, but his guards haven't shown up for quite some time, and our towns messengers haven't returned yet, so we don't know whats going on anymore." Penny says in firmness "The King must of had them imprisoned! he has imprisoned everyone in my town, except for me and a few other people who managed to escape." The old man, looking shocked and hopeless replies "then I suppose we will keep feeding Oolong's growing appetite until it reduces our town to a ghost town.....if only we could find a monster hunter, we could just pay them back later once our town has some time to recover...." Goku, still irked about not being able to defeat Kuma says "I can beat him!" everyone looks at Goku like he's crazy except for Baruma. The old man says "he can shapeshift into anything, and threatens to destroy us all if we don't do exactly as he says, you don't know what your up against! if you fail we will all suffer for it!" Goku says "I fought with Kuma, and he said he is the strongest monster in the land, so I know I can beat Oolong!" the old man, now amazed says, "you did? just a little boy? well you did break my door like it was paper....just let Oolong know we didn't have anything to do with it, so he doesn't think it was our doing...." Baruma says with confidence, "Son Goku won't even need to explain that, cause he will win!" Penny then thinks "If Son Goku is strong enough, maybe he can help save my parents". The old man states "Oolong could be here any minute. There is a bunch of stuff in the center of the town that he is going to pick up. you can wait for him there...." Goku, now excited, runs off towards the towns center laughing through a big grin going "tehhheheehehhee". Baruma, looking amused, says "I don't think I've seen him this excited." Part 3 after about 20 minutes or so, Goku sees a hulking giant monster with red skin and a giant spiked club approaching him. The ground seems to shake with each step and as it comes to view Baruma exclaims to Goku from off to the side of one of the houses "it looks like an Oni Demon, watch out Son Goku, he looks tough!" Goku, now having a big smirk on his face, charges the Oni monster Oolong. Oolong, noticing someone or something trying to attack him, stops and yells in a feirce roar "STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!" Goku, not sure what he was planning, decides to stop and hear him out. "I am Oolong, the shape shifting monster, and I'm here to pick up my order. What do you think your doing!?" Goku says "I'm thinking I'm gonna beat you!" Oolong, amused, says "I don't feel like fighting, besides kid, you don't know what your up against. why don't you just go home, and I won't gobble you up. Your wasting my valuable time, I'll kill you if you take up any more of it." he walks towards Goku and than notices he's not backing down. "Kid, I'll step on you, really slowly.....and painfully, if ya don't move, NOW!" Goku stands his ground. Oolong says "You asked for it!" and slowly puts his foot over Goku, as Goku pushes his foot back up, which knocks him off balance. Oolong, now shocked "WHAT THE!? WHAT KIND OF KID ARE YOU!?" Goku replies "I fought Kuma, and your nothing compared to him!" Oolong freaks out for a second "Wh-WHAT?! YOU DID WHAT!? AND LIVED!?" he starts backing up and says, "well kid, I'm a whole nother ball game!" as he transforms with a giant cloud of smoke. as it clears, he looks like a giant Demonic Bull. "You still feelin lucky punk!!!!" Oolongs new form is bigger than the homes around him and towers over Goku. Goku says "yeah, your still not as big as Kuma! and now you don't have a weapon either!" Oolong is not sure how to react for a minute, this has never happened to him before, and thinks "is this kid scared of anything....oh crap, I'm outta time!!!! I can't hold these transformations much longer!" he looks at Goku, than notices alot of the towns people have stepped out of their homes and are watching "GRRRRAAAAHHH!!!! I...I-I uh.....I'll be right back!" Oolong starts to bolt out of the town. Baruma yells at Goku, "SON GOKU!? HE"S GETTING AWAY! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!! GET HIM!!!". Goku suddenly realizes he is running away and yells "HEY, I WANT TO BEAT YOU!!!! COME BACK HERE!!!!" as Baruma just her forehead into her palm and shakes her head. As he approaches the entrance there is another huge puff of smoke from Oolong, and when it clears, he is gone. Goku gets to the spot where he vanished and looks around and doesn't see anyone. "can he turn invisible too?...." Goku is now on guard and starts backing up slowly into the town very cautiously, now suspicious of how quite it has become. Oolong, hiding in a bush to the side in his true form, a pint size pig-like being, is debating his next course of action. "well, he wants to fight me, there is no getting around that.....the little guy is fast too, I barely got away....maybe if I just turn into something he can't break.....but what if he can break it.....I'm running out of options here, I gotta keep this people under the impression I"m unstoppable...." Goku has now put his guard down somewhat and walks back towards the center of town. "looks like he ran off" says Goku with a look of dissapointment. the townspeople start to cheer up a bit and now seem to have a glimmer of hope back. one of them steps forward and says "you need to find his lair, he still has all of our daughters, and until he is stopped, we are sure he will continue to torment our village...." Goku looks up and than with a look of determination he starts running towards the front of town again. Baruma yells "WAIT, WE NEED A PLAN! YOU CAN'T JUST HOPE TO FIND HIM RUNNING AROUND AIMLESSLY!!!!" Goku see's a strange looking pig-like figure peaking out from behind the towns gate entrance in the difference and bolts at him, assuming it's Oolong. Oolong see's him comming and starts to panic "I'll just have to give it a go, lets see if this kid is as good at dodging as he is strong! Hope this scares 'em off....if it doesn't kill 'em!" another big poof of smoke appears and as Son Goku gets right up to it, a giant ball and chain with an ax blade comes out of the smoke and Goku just barely manages to side step it. "Hehehehe, your pretty good on your feet kid...I'll give ya that....but you don't have a chance. Just leave, and I will consider forgetting this little mess." a metal hand the size of a double doorway comes out of the smoke to grab Goku, so he leaps over it and swings his Nyoi-bo vertically over his head and straight down into the cloud. theres a loud metal *CLING* noise and the smoke clears to reveal Oolongs new form, I giant hulking Metal Golem, without a scratch on it. Oolong thinks to himself "awesome, I made a body of solid alloyed Titanium! I didn't know if I could really do that, but now I'm really invincible!" Goku supprised to see his weapon has no effect is stunned for a second as he lands on the ground. just than Oolong tries to kick him, but Goku manages to dodge. "you little punk, just give up, you can't hurt me and your just gonna get tired soon, so whats the point?" Goku yells "I'm not even breaking a sweat!" and starts hitting him over and over again with the Nyoi-bo, but to no avail, while he keeps trying to dodge. Baruma gets up to them and says "Goku, use his own weapon against him! it's made of the same alloy his armor is!" Goku turns his head towards her with a confused look and than back at Oolong and says, "Whats alloy?" and Bulma yells back "JUST HIT HIM WITH HIS OWN WEAPON!" Goku waits for him to make a hard swing and than does a "Kameha" palm strike on the chain during his swing. His ball and chain pivots around Goku and smacks Oolong right in the chest. Oolong drops his weapon and stumbles back and has a dent in his chest armor, but seems to be gasping for air a bit and than turns into his normal form again, and takes a second to regain composer. Son Goku stands with his Nyoi-bo ready to strike and says "Give it up Oolong, your beat!" Oolong now freaking out says "NO! WAIT! WAIT! Just here me out kid....." Goku lowers his weapon for a second, being gullible. Oolong smirks and transforms into a giant winged bat "See ya around kid" and flies off. Goku, now angry, calls for Kintoun, and starts flying towards him faster than Oolong can fly. Oolong turns and sees him coming towards him and exclaims "THE KID FLIES!? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!?!?" and turns into a rocket that uses his chi for fuel and burst off. Goku starts pushing Kintoun to go faster and catches up. Oolong is out of options and tries to loose him in the woods. "My lair is really close, so if I can lose him by going in random directions, I can hide back at the lair and think this out some more!" Son Goku is having a hard time keeping up with him, and than realizes that he is letting out a lot of chi energy, so he stops and tries to pick up on his chi instead. Oolong turns back to normal in front of his lair, a cave with a mansion built inside of it "good, that worked perfectly, I lost him. good thing Chi rockets don't leave smoke trails. that stupid kid should know better than to......" he stops mid sentance and realizes Goku is standing right behind him. "SOOO OOLONG, THIS IS YOUR LAIR HU!?!?!" Oolong puts his hands up and sighs "you got me kid....but how are you so strong? I mean, most people my age can't raise a finger against me, but you!.....geez kid, your really weird...and whats up with the funky hair?" *Goku Brings Oolong back to the town and he appologizes for all the trouble he has caused and explains his origin story. (in a nutshell, he was practically abandoned by his parents and had to learn to fend for himself. he found how monsters could terrorize people and get whatever they wanted, so he thought if attended transformation school he could use his abilities to make a living for himself by stealing from others like monsters do by becoming one. he never wanted to hurt anyone though, and only kidnapped the girls because he could hire maids, and eventually they learned they could abuse his nice side and they had him bring them more stuff, which coincidently he stole from their own village.) Oolong promises never to pretend to be a monster again and gives them back everything. Baruma looks at Oolongs sad long face and asks, "so, how old are you?" Oolong looks up at her and says "well, I'm only 12. and now I've got nowhere to go....." Baruma thinks to herself "this pig kid did all this without anyone helping him and he is only 12? sheesh he could be a natural buisness shark, and my family has a the resources.....plus....it's not like he really knew anybetter. he only did this cause he wasn't ever taught any different.... this kids got potential, and his ability can come in real handy" so Baruma asks "Oolong, you wanna come with us and help us find the Dragon Balls?" Oolong has a curious expression "If you do come with us, my dad may be able to help you be really succesful, since he is one of the most powerful men on Z." Goku looks at her with a look of amazement, "Your dad is really that strong!? can I see him too!? I wanna keep getting stronger too!" Baruma rolls her eyes and kinda chuckles, "no Son Goku, not powerful as in Strong, but Powerful as in, he has a strong influence on the worlds affairs, because he is wealthy and looked at as a super genius." Goku just keeps staring at her with a super happy expression. "oh, thats right, you probably haven't the slightest clue what any of that means....well, what do ya say Oolong?" she says looking at him with a welcoming smile. Oolong sighs and says "sure, I got nothing else here.... yeah, that actually doesn't sound half bad!" Baruma turns and looks at Penny and says, "well, you comming along or what?" Penny jumps for joy and says "will I ever!" Baruma pulls out the Dragon Radar and says, "looks like King Goymao is at "Fry Pan Mountain", guess thats our next stop. lets just get some supplies real quick and well be on our way." Penny asks "why are we going there?" and Baruma catches her up on everything. Penny now believes that the Dragon Balls are the only thing that can restore her village to what it once was. "I have to get the Dragon Balls then! it's the only way to return my hometown back to normal" and Goku says "Then thats what we gotta do!" Baruma's smile starts to fade as she thinks "King Garumez is trying to gather the dragon balls to, so we have to confront an him if we are gonna get all 7, what am I getting myself into...." CH. 3- The Thief and the Prankster (manga's 7-10) (Son Goku, Oolong, Penny, and Baruma must travel on foot after Baruma loses all of her capsules. They walk through a petrified fungal forest region in the desert and become exhausted and then are ambushed by Yamucha and Puar who try and take all their valuables. Baruma startles Yamucha and he retreats, only to attack them again the next day after Puar overhears them reveal they have dragon balls and a dragon radar. Puar takes on Kuma's form and fight Son Goku, and Yamucha is again caught of guard by Baruma and retreats. He gives them a bugged car so he can follow them and find a way to steal the dragon balls and Baruma's heart.) Part 1 *Baruma, Son Goku, Oolong, and Penny all travel towards the Ox Kings location and use a boat to travel down the riverside. They get caught in some rapids and attacked by a water monster, and Baruma losses all of her capsules except for some weapons and a couple other essentials she was keeping on her. *They run out of gas and have to travel on foot. They reach a desert canyon area, filled with giant petrified mushrooms, and try to use Oolong as a means of staying cool by using his shape shifting. He gets tired and so every stops to rest. *While they are resting, they are attacked by Yamucha (he is riding his Hover Bike, on older model), the "Desert Bandit" that robs passer by's and his companion "Puar" (she is currently in the form of a maned wolf, but is always light blue with deep blue tribal markings no mater what form she takes), whom Oolong identifies as the "Mythic Shapeshifter of Legend" who can become any mythical monster she chooses and is millions of years old. Part 2 * Son Goku challenges Yamucha in response to him demanding they surrender their possessions and they begin to fight. They both carry a feral fighting style, both having grown up in the wilderness, except Yamucha is capable of controlling mythic energy to enhance his attacks, which catches Son Goku off guard. *Son Goku gets back up and retaliates with Jenkin Fist, and returns Yamucha's suprise attacks with his own. Son Goku is now becoming exhausted from the heat and lack of food, and Yamucha can see it and becomes more fierce and gains the advantage (Puar and Oolong are keeping each other buisy amongst this as well) and just as it seems Goku might collapse, Baruma steps in with a gun and starts questioning Yamucha (she had fallen into a deep sleep from heat exhaustion). *Yamucha, having never seen such a beautiful girl (his own age as well), isn't sure how to react, and is both struck by suprise, and than thinks he must be in love (he doesn't understand his emotions, since he is still growing up, and Puar doesn't know what love is so she can't teach him anything or tell him otherwise), and decides to retreat back to his lair. *Oolong realizes they are all exhausted and will just become food for wild life if they don't find shelter, and reveals his secret Capsule he was keeping in case of emergencies. In the middle of the night, Yamucha sends Puar to spy on them, where she overhears them talking about the Dragon Balls, what they are, and about how they will get the rest and use them. Part 3 *The next day, Yamucha decides to steal the Dragon Balls and Radar, and collect them himself, and attacks Oolong's Camper Mobile Home with a Panzer Rocket to immobilize them. He is armed with more than his scimitar this time, and in addition to carrying the Panzer Rockets on his back, has a Tommy Gun on a shoulder strap (to counter Baruma's weapons). *Son Goku Threatens Yamucha by saying "I was hungry and tired last time! This time, I'm at full strength, so bring it on!" and Yamucha replies "I won't be fighting you this time, Puar will....". Goku, confidently says "I fought Kuma, and he's the strongest monster their is, so I'm not afraid of you!" Puar chuckles a bit and than says "Oh? Is that right? You mean this?" and she transforms into light blue colored Kuma, but she has no scars and no armor or weapons like Kuma did and she is still covered in the blue tribal markings. * Son Goku gulps, and is now somewhat unsure of himself. Puar says "You may have fought Kuma, but Kuma could never beat me in a thousand years! Just give up and give us the Dragon Balls, youngling!" Son Goku regains his confidence by remembering that it may have been Kuma that killed his Grandpa Gohan, and thinks this is his chance to prove himself. * He manages to evade Puar's attacks, but can't seem to hurt her in her current form either, so he resorts to his ultimate technique, the "Kameha" and just barely misses Puar. He manages to startle her enough though, that she realizes that Yamucha would be defeated in a single blow from the attack, and she doesn't think she can hit Son Goku (he's too tricky and she would need to resort to using her mystic forms, which she has promised herself she wouldn't use on mortals, in order to defeat him.) *Puar tells Yamucha that they should retreat while they can. Yamucha, in his pride, says "oh no! We have allready done that once, and this time, I'm determined to-" Baruma interupts and distracts him by just yelling at him "HEY CUTIE!" and when he turns his head, Goku hits him in the face with the Nioy-bo from where he's standing, and hits him hard enough to mess his face up. Yamucha, ashamed and insulted, retreats in shame, but wants to get the dragon balls, so he says "look, I really misjudged you guys....here, you can have this in exchange for all the trouble we have caused you." and gives them a hover car. *As Son Goku and friends are about to leave, Baruma walks up to Yamucha, who is rubbing his face and somewhat sulking about the loss, and tells him "Why don't you get out of this desert, and get yourself a real job? your a really cute guy, and I just think it's really sad we had to meet on these terms. Thanks for the car, but if you really want to make it up to me, than do something better with your life than steal from helpless people." and then she leaves. * at this point, Yamucha's head is swirling with emotions and he now has a desire to be with Baruma (thinks he is in love) and wants her to approve of him, so he decides that will be his new goal in obtaining the dragon balls, he will "steal" her heart by wishing for it. Puar only wants Yamucha to be happy and decides to help him with this extremely selfish wish (partly because she doesn't understand "love" outside of family, of which Yamucha is like her son), but asks "how will we get the dragon balls from them now?" to which Yamucha says "The car I gave them has a tracking device in it, we will always know where they are as long as they keep using it, so well follow them until we find an oppertunity to take them!" CH. 4 The Ox King and Oni Castle (Mangas 11-15) (Son Goku and Co. find the Oni Castle on Frypan Mountain and Oolong shares his insight on the legends surrounding it. Yamucha and Puar meet Chichi while waiting for them to start going again. Chichi was chased by a monster and has such adrenaline that she mistakingly attacks Yamucha when she is done killing the monster. Yamucha attacks her back in self defense, but also out of fear, because she looks somewhat like a demon when she attacks him. Meanwhile, Son Goku on Frypan mountain is attacked by Gyumao King, The Ox King, who is in a demonic frenzy, they tell him Muten Roshi sent them and he regains control and explains himself. He asks Goku to find Chichi and Muten Roshi and bring them both back, and that he cannot get the dragon ball because Oni Castle is filled with demonic energy that must be sealed away and that Muten Roshi can fix it. Goku goes with Chichi and they get Muten Roshi to follow them back. Muten Roshi uses a demon sealing technique to purge the castle and the mountain of the fiery demonic energy. Goku is taught the other part of the Kameha and gets the dragon ball from the Ox King, Gyumaou.) Edited by Temphis, Feb 11 2010, 07:33 PM.

CH. 5 Toe, The Carrotter (Manga 16-17) (Goku and Co. go to a small town to get some supplies and refuel, but it is dominated by the Rabbit Gang. The Rabbit Gang Boss Toe comes when Son Goku and Oolong scare off a couple of the gang members, and then Toe turns Baruma into a Carrot using his magic in order to regain the towns respect out of fear. Yamucha can no longer wait on the side lines and saves Baruma and helps defeat the Toe. Yamucha decides to help Baruma get the rest of the dragon balls, and convinces her that they need his help, in hopes of her becoming accepting of him.) Edited by Temphis, Feb 1 2010, 07:36 PM.

CH. 6 Emperor Pilaf Rising (Mangas 18-22) (Goku and co. get ambushed by a Mecha that takes their dragon balls. They find Emperor Pilaf's Castle and are captured and imprisoned. Emperor Pilaf tries to extract info from Goku and co. and reports to his leaders about his findings as he aspires to obtain a higher power among them. Goku is revealed to have been the Monster that killed his Grandpa Gohan when he turns into a monster under the light of the full moon and destroys Pilafs Castle.) CH. 7 The Cursed King Gurumez (Curse of the Blood Rubies) (Son Goku goes ahead on to King Gurumez's castle and Baruma and co. use one of Pilaf's Helicopter's to follow. They are attacked by Gurumez's army upon when they are within viewing distance of his Castle. The Major goes after Son Goku, using his hover disk, and fights Son Goku in the air. Yamucha and Puar get inside the Castle and Fights Raven. Baruma and Oolong act as distractions until Son Goku wins the air battle with the Major and uses the Nioy-bo to help defeat the all the people attacking baruma and Oolong. Yamucha is able to get away from Raven while Puar defeats all the other soldiers. Goku and co. get to the throne room being chased from different directions towards the center of the castle. King Gurumez is completely possessed by the Curse and transforms into a Cursed Monster. Son Goku's Kamehameha is not effective against it, and the Major and Raven are both knocked out by a now unstoppable King Gurumez. Baruma detects the Dragon Balls are inside of King Gurumez, and so she throws the other Dragon Balls into his open mouth and Son Goku helps. Shenron is Summoned from inside King Gurumez, and Penny makes the wish for the Curse and all the trouble it caused to be undone and the King and the city are restored.) CH. 8 Son Goku's New Rival (Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle + mangas 23-25) (Son Goku tells Baruma and co. he will now go to Muten Roshi to receive further training. Baruma takes Oolong, Yamucha and Puar back with her to West City to help them start new lives with a head start, thanks to her father's wealth and position. Son Goku goes back to Muten Roshi for training, but Kuririn, a dwarf Tiger Monk, arrives at the same time, also requesting training. Muten Roshi tells them he will not take them both on as students, and that they must compete for his apprenticeship by traveling to Devil's Hand and bringing back the legendary "Sleeping Princess" so he can date her. They are required to travel their by foot, and both race each other to get their first. Baruma and Co. then arrives at Kame House to say high and brings Penny with them from her home town. Penny now wants training from Muten Roshi so she can protect her town in the future and she wants to train with Son Goku. Muten Roshi tells them about Son Goku heading off to Devil's Hand and they decide to go after him, because it's dangerous and Son Goku hasn't a clue what he's getting himself into. When Baruma and co. get close to to Devil's Castle, they are attacked and captured by Devil's. The Devil King, Count Beelzebub, tries to make Baruma and Penny, who are now captured, comfortable and gain tries to gain their trust.) Edited by Temphis, Feb 5 2010, 06:26 PM.

CH. 9 The Princess Awakens (Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle + manga 26) (Son Goku and Kuririn arrive at Devils Hand Castle. They fight an army of devils and it's it's commander Ghastel. Count Beelzebub tries to use Baruma and Penny's life blood in order to make the sleeping princess "awaken" and curse all the world with it's magic, but Launch, a twin-soul tomb raider, steals the "Sleeping Princess" before they can complete the ritual. They are all captured and the ritual is completed, but Son Goku see's the full moon and becomes his Oozaru form again and destroys part of devil's hand before Oolong manages to remove his tail again. Oolong, Puar, and Yamucha fend off the Devil Army while Son Goku and Kuririn work together and try to stop Count Beelzebub, who has taken place as new Devil King in Piccolo Daimaou's absence.) CH. 10 The Start of a Beautiful Friendship (mangas 27-29) (Son Goku and Kuririn head back to Kame House with Launch and Penny to see if he will train them for bringing back Launch, who fits the description of a beautiful girl for a date. Master Roshi decides he will take all of three of them so long as they provide for themselves while they live at Kame House and that Launch will date him. Launch doesn't commit to dating him at a certain time, but says she will, eventually. Launch needs a place to stay, because before she went to Devil's Hand, she was on the run from the cops. Master Roshi learns more about Launch's "other soul" named "Kashami" and becomes weary of her changing. Master Roshi gauges their strength and shows off his own, and then has them do competitive training with each other, giving instruction little by little. Penny feels weak because she constantly compares herself to Kuririn and Son Goku, but she does not realize how strong she has become. Son Goku asks or says constant ignorantly rude remarks or asks rude questions about Kuririn, often concerning his height and strange facial features, while Kuririn constantly takes advantage of Son Goku's gullible nature, while Penny keeps them both from fighting each other. Kuririn is intimidated by the things he has seen Son Goku do, and thinks he is not even human, but he is still determined to surpass him. Son Goku & Kuririn must compete for meals, and become rivals.) Edited by Temphis, Feb 4 2010, 03:50 AM.
