I was thinking, since Burst Limit was so wack, should the next game be Tenkaichi style, or stick with the budokai style or play. Personally I like the Tenkaichi series better, and on the PS3/Xbox it'd look great. |

I prefer the Tenkaichi style by far. It just fits DBZ better, being able to fly all around and fire beams from across the stage. Plus it opens up options for rush special attacks more then the Budokai etc. series do. I'd like a next-gen Tenkaichi, but not if they remove all the characters again. I'd rather a BT4. |

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 4: Videl's awesomeness. It's basically just a game revolving around Videl and I'm in it. It's in the development stages right now. Expect it around 2012. In other news, and back on topic, I haven't played either because I fail and as soon as I can be bothered to go out and buy both I really can't give you an opinion. So this concludes this post and I hope you enjoyed it. |
Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.![]() ![]()

This is exactly right. Words can't describe how innovative I think the Tenkaichi series is. It's also, as stated by Psyam, very suitable in style to the actual show. The many maneuvers allowed in Tenkaichi are reminiscent of the show in many ways. The free roam feel of the game is great, and Budokai's gameplay just feels entirely restrained. You can knock your opponent up into the air, teleport in front of them, knock them back down into the ground, pelt them with a barrage of ki blasts, and then charge up the final ki blast to top the Dragonball Z anime-like sequence off. It actually feels like Dragonball Z, unlike the typical Budokai series. EDIT: In regard to Blast 1 abilities in Tenkaichi, the Warp Kamehameha is possible in its own interesting way. This just adds to how much more the Tenkaichi series reflects on the DBZ style. Edited by Brian, May 9 2009, 10:17 PM.

I've only played the first Budokai which I thought sucked. I have BT 3 which is really good and would love a fourth to come out on XBOX 360, it would be awesome. And yeah Blaze a create-you-own character/moveset would kick *****. |

I've only played Budokai and Burst Limit... But now I want to play Tenkaichi. Did anyone play Super DBZ or Infinite World? How do those stack up? |

Tenkaichi owns all because it has Chichi in it. I remember how many games it took for them to put her in the game. WHen they finally did, that is what made the game awesome. |

The effects and music for Budokai series was better but thats all. However the action and options to fight with in Tenkaichi is awesome and far more closely follow the series. Everyone has roughly the same kind of moves but their is still a versatility about it that makes it awesome to play. If they made a BT4 and included a make-your-own-character option that would be great. Couple this along with a move developer too would just add that level of uniqueness to the game. The races would be human, Namekian, Saiyan, Android, Majinn (not a race i guess but it could still be a group), demon (like Dabura), Changling (Friezas lot), mutants (Ginyu Force), whatever Pikkons race is, those Metamori guys (we never see them but they are the guys who teach Goku the fusion dance). Heck this would lead to new fusion forms as well, if we only use the Fusion dance to give the base form (the style of clothing and suit) and the characters could swap colours and facial identities. Then moves would follow. So it would have graphics as good as Budokai (better cause its PS3/Xbox360) fighting engine of Tenkaichi that is still improved on (i think its great already) with some added cool features. |

I've only played the first Budokai but I didn't like it much. Now Budokai Tenkaichi 3, there's an awesomely brilliant game. I love the fighting style, the character designs, the music, everything about it is great. |

I like the Budokai style. I just like fighting games. I guess the Tenkaichi style is a bit more closer to how they fight in DBZ. Raging Blast looks like it will have the best gameplay from all of the games yet!

![]() An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good!' If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I remember when i transferred over to the tenkaichi series from the budokai. I hated it so much because of the major change of controls, but then I managed to adapt to it. Ironically I liked it much more in the end. |

Started with Budokai. Thought it was the best ***** ever. But Tenkaichi is amazing. It's really the DBZ game experience. The "create-a-character" in BT3 was lame. I can't see how they can pull of a real one in the future lol. BT4 better have more DB, GT, and obscure DBZ characters. But that's me, personally. |
