I was watching I Am Legend today and I was thinking about it and it was really the only film I have cried at, I don't think I have cried at any other film, not even when I was a kid.

The part when Sam, Robert Neville's dog, protects Will Smith (Robert Neville) from the infected dogs and she ends up getting infected. He then takes her home and injects her with a syrem which worked on a rat being experimented on and holds her in his arms while singing Bob marley's 'Everything's gonna be alright' and then the symptoms effect the dog and he has to kill her. Then in the next scene he talks to the mannequin which he promised Sam he would talk to and keeps saying 'Please Talk To Me'.

His dog was given to him by his daughter before his daughter and wife died in an air accident which meens the dog is his only Family and was his only friend for three years. I couldnt imagine how that would feel.

anyways, what are all your saddest films and which part.

I once gave a Kangaroo a heart-attack just by staring at it

I've cried twice at a film.

Once, at the end of "Gladiator", starring Russle Crowe, as he walks through the field.

The other, Bruce Willis' speach near the end of Armageddon, then they fly away.

The ending result of the film Deep Impact or Gran Torino. There may be tons of others but they are not at the tip of my thoughts at this moment.

Another one, a few years ago, and everytime I re-watch it, is in The Terminal. At the end, when he gets the signature, I just can't help but cry.

I haven't actually cried at any film that I remember, though I have found a few of them very sad. The closet one to crying has to be Forrest Gump. He's such a nice person and yet some of the worst types of crap has happened to him in his life. But the final scenes are the parts that make me water up. though it will make me cry one day.

depends on what you mean by saddest. biggest tear jerker ive seen lately was "The Ultimate Gift", but the "saddest" movie I've seen would probably be "X-Men 3: last stand"...that movie is sad in more ways than one :(

Ally to good. Nightmare to you.

Besides Lion King as a child, I've only cried at Marley and Me. But I think OVERALL [not just one tear jerking moment] saddest movie was either Requiem For a Dream, or Road to Redemption. I'm sure there's something else but I can't remember right now.

There are a couple movies that I have cried watching, and im not afraid to admit that. the only thing that comes to mind right now is a movie called light it up. I don't cry at the sad part, but a little after it.

I have to say the saddest movie I've seen is Marley & Me. *spoilers* Going through the life and times of a dog only to be a part of the process of seeing him impact his human family and in the end being there when his master makes the hard decision to put him down. Being someone who has been there holding my dog as they are given a lethal injection I can tell you it is the hardest most emotional thing you'll ever experience. So seeing them have to sit there and hold him at the end not knowing what your going to tell your children about their dog is really sad.

The other sad movies I'd have to say the New Star Trek since the beginning is very sad and very emotional and still one of the best movies I've ever seen.
