Chrome	Because I couldn't find a thread about her, I decided to make one. So, what does everyone think of this character? The only rule is: no "I hate her so much, her characters worthless" if you only dislike her because of Pan. Sure, Pan may be a horrible, useless and vomit-enducing peice of the DB universe but that's no reason to hate Videl. So the question remains, what do you think of Videl?

She had a lot of drive and determination. She wasn't as strong as the other characters, but she had the same "never-say-die" attitude/spirit when it came to fighting. She put up one hell of a fight against Spopovich. I also enjoyed her interaction with Gohan.

Any dislikes that is Does GT Videl count? I think they could have replaced her with a cardboard cut out and no one would be able to tell the difference. Even her new character design was horrible. A lot of people dislike her overbearing/pushy personality(similar to Chichi's), but she'd be kind of dull if she wasn't imo. I also liked how Gohan brought out a softer side of her personality and how she grew to respect him. I guess you could call her a bit cliche(since most of the DB women have a loud, tsundere-like personality), but most of the other characters are like that as well(which I don't mind, as long as I find them entertaining)

Firefox Favourite Manga To LOVE Ru	wasn't a fan of her at all how ever they took her from decent looking with pretty long, hair with volume and chopped it off because bowl hair cuts back then seemed to be in gags though I do agree with Bulla you could have replaced her with a cardboard cut out and no one would have noticed.

Once Gohan was in the picture I suppose she seemed exactly like Chichi. Which I obviously was planned, but later on she seemed sweeter to Gohan, and they just seemed to get along so well. I think had she continued training in times of peace she;d be ridiculously strong. Probably had the potential to keep up with people like Krillin and Yamcha if they had her keep at it. End of DBZ she wasn't in the torny and obviously I expected somethings had changed. Gohan wasn't the fighting type either. In GT, that's exactly what happend. She didn't fight, and that whole character she had built up seemed to be lost. Funy how when chichi and videl first met they hated each other, and niether one wanted videl to marry gohan. We know what happened lol

Internet Explorer & Firefox Favourite Manga n/a	I thought Videl wasn't really like the other female DBZ characters, she seemed more relaxed to a certain degree, I mean she wasn't like Bulma or ChiChi where if one thing turned up, they would freak out completely and her spirit was great in DBZ, how even though she was a human girl, she could keep up flying with all the other guys, not to mention how quickly she picked up the flying habit. I also liked how even though her dad was the biggest faker out there, she didn't let that turn into a genetic thing, she trained hard to get to the power she had, and she could defiantly beat up her dad if she wanted to lol. In GT, she didn't have much of an appearance, but not many characters did, I mean, Bulla, Krillian, Tien, Yamcha, they all didnt show up much either.

I thought her hair looked better short, to be honest. Anyway, I think Videl was a great character. Yes, great, at least compared to the other female humans in DBZ. Bulma was annoying as hell in the Namek Saga and Chi-Chi was always annoying. Videl had some character and was a good fighter. She gave Spopovitch one hell of a beating.

Internet Explorer & Firefox Favourite Manga n/a	I cant remember Videl fighting anyone other than Spopovitch, but I do remember a scene where Spopovitch was weak at first, weak to the point of Hercule beating him, and I always get him confused with the guy that stepped on Pan lol but anyway, I thought her hair looked better long, the short hair looked messy and made her a little too much of a tomboy look

I like her determination, and I liked that she was smart enough to understand her father's title was a joke. It shouldn't be easier for someone who has lived all her life being fooled up so close by her father and everyone around him to get out of her box and see the truth. I admire her for that. And for learning how to fly quickly. She's a cool character.

She was arrogant for no reason and didn't bring much to she Saga to be honest.
