Tien during his conflict with second form Cell or SSJ Goku in his fight with Frieza. I wanna say Tien because he put up a decent fight, but I don't know. It's hard to say if any human was stronger than a super saiyan in DBZ. |

Tien did nothing more than stop cell from moving for a bit and piss him off, thus no real damage. I say Goku takes the cake on that one. |

I think he was quite a bit more then 3x Frieza's power, but even so, all he did was push him back, it did practically no lasting damage to Cell at all. He put everything he had into those attacks anyway. He couldn't move after. How could Tien have caught up to SSJ Goku's level in the years before the androids came? I don't think he had enough time. |

Goku, tien really didnt do any damage like all of you pointed out, and got him mad, tien could have done that the whole day. |

Tien wouldnt have even been able to match Goku in his base form never mind his Super Saiyan state. Its a shame we couldnt see Goku and Tien fight on equal terms, where the outcome of the battle was decided more by heart, determination and technique as opposed to crazy power levels. Goku Super Saiyan would waste Tien with a finger in a fight. However what if Tien landed that big Kio-ko Cannon thingy that he used on Cells 2nd form(cant remeber what its called, but you know what i mean :p) blasting it on Goku Super Saiyan? Would the attack be strong enough to KO him? Blow his body into pieces? Or just wound him? Mmm? Krillin Destructo Disc was deadly enough to cut off Frieza 2nd Forms tail (Frieza being well over 20 times more powerful Krillins power level, well over!), maybe Tiens attack would be strong enough to harm Goku SSj1 if he just stood there and didnt do anything and took the attack head on. *innocently points to Dragonball* Anyway, I think that even if Goku was in his normal state around the time Frieza came and Tien was in the shape he was in during the Super Buu kind of time period, he still wouldn't stand a chance. |
Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans  DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.  | |

Yea I'm sorry this one has to go to Goku. Tien only kept Cell in the ground from getting up for a period of time. I think he is powerful but the reason Cell couldn't get back up was because of that certain attack of Tiens. The Neo Tri-Beam that Tien perfected was used to pin down Cell but didn't actually do any real damage. He collapsed soon after because the attack took away most of Tiens health and ki away. Tien's power level(at the time) was somewhere between Yamcha's and Piccolo's (more closer to Yamchas). He didn't stand a chance against the Androids 19 and 20. Vegeta used most of his energy against the fight with 19 I think Any Super Saiyan including Goku can beat Tien pretty easily. |
