Well, as that battle turned out, Goku found a weak spot and Super 17 was open for an attack. SSJ4 Goku defeated 17 with Kamehameha x10. Why would he need Vegeta's help? But to answer the question. Goku and Vegeta would cream him in their coffee.

Chrome Favourite Manga Bersek	Yeah goku eventually managed to take him down using the weakspot/opening for attack. Thus I believe that if Vegeta was there to help it wouldnt be to big of a problem. Besides their powers combined (dont mean fusion, we all know how that would end) would be more than enough for Super 17 Im sure.

Firefox	I think SSJ4 Goku was already stronger than Super 17 but, he kept using energy attacks which made Super 17 even stronger and that Kamehameha x10? Total power boost on 17s part.

Even if the 2 SSJ4 gang Super 17 they would still lost and the only reason y Super 17 died is because base DBgt Goku >> every1 on DBgt.

Second, he can absorb any energy blasts and with the kamehameha x 10, he was a lot stronger. Third, it was 18 that got him to show his weak spot, so, if she wasn't present, then Goku wouldn't have known about it, thus, he would have lost even with vegeta's help

Since Super 17 barely managed to survive and absorb ssj4 Goku's 10x Kamehameha, if Vegeta was there also as ssj4, they would have riped apart Super 17.Besides... Vegeta is smarter than Goku,he would have noticed Super 17's absorbing technique and found a way to overcome it.

Firefox Favourite Manga Neon Genesis Evangelion. Dragonball/Z. FMA.	I don't think Vegeta would've caught on. He's the type that thinks he can just overwhelm someone with his energy attacks. But I think if he could then it would've been an easy win for Goku and Vegeta as 17 wouldn't have been able to absorb nearly as much energy.
