GX What Browser do you use? Google Chrome Favourite Manga Naruto, YUGIOH GX	Goku from the Frieza Saga goes up against Trunks when he first travels back in time. I've done some research and both Goku and Trunks during their respective time periods have equal power levels as Super Sayian's. The power levels that they equal in is 12,000,000. I would say Trunks sense he had more time to adjust to his SS for while Goku was still figuring out when he was fighting Frieza. Trunks also has his sword to further aid him in combat. Yeah, Goku was able to stop Trunks' sword with one finger but during that time he had become stronger (his power level being 15,000,000 now) so I would guess that before that time he might no have been able to block a blade with such ease.
