yeah, .Punxx, you seem to know what your talking about. I am not experienced in fighting, I've only talked to people that do, and so I've made assumptions based on the things they've said. I only stated "brazillian jiu-jitsu" cause it's really the only kind of "jiu-jitsu" in know anything about, and thats not too much in itself except that I know it's got good grapples. I've always thought Judo or other forms where cool, but all the instructors I've ever talked to have pretty much told me judo is not as good in a fight. I'm currious though, since Judo is bassed on grappling, where'd the term "Judo chop" come from? |

There is no best fighting style. In reality, it all comes down to you and your instructor(s). However, if you are training in a no-sparring TMA studio you might as well consider yourself boned in the field of martial arts. Kata doesn't teach you anything, and chambered attacks are useless. |

The best M.A style in my opinion would be Kung Fu. |

I don't really know that much about all of it. but from what i have seen, all of them have strong points and weak points, some may be better than others, but there is always some out there better in certain areas. i like Capoeira the most. i like how they get so close and fly around. |

Wrestling. Yep, in official MMA, it's a form of technique. With the sharpest wrestling, you can get yourself into the best position possible to defeat any opponent. If you ever watch UFC, Bodog Fight, or any other MMA event, you'll notice what a key role wrestling (or jujitsu) takes in the competition. From making your opponent submit, to getting into a better position ("ground and pound"), wrestling is the ultimate offense and defense. A fighter who has no wrestling (or jujitsu) background loses to a well-disciplined wrestler as soon as he's grappled. *realizes how old this topic is* Aw hell. So yeah. Wrestling's the best. Haha. I don't know about the "best" form but I do Tang Soo Do, a Korean Karate and it's pretty fun. I'm thinking of doing Ninjutsu or something later on in life too. |
Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.![]() ![]() | |
