A massive wave of Israeli air strikes, launched yesterday against Hamas in Gaza, has killed at least 227 people – the highest death toll in a single day in the territory since the end of the 1967 Six Day War.

Warplanes and combat helicopters launched their ferocious assault on the Islamic faction's security compounds and rocket launching pads in what Israel said was a response to about 470 Qassam missiles and mortars, launched from Hamas-controlled Gaza since a five-month ceasefire began to break down in November.

In some major cities nowhere close to the Middle East, people; most probably Palestinians and muslims alike. Were protesting the fact that Israel attacked Palestinians. Wake up call; It's the Middle East . These things happen there, and they've always happened there. You people are the only ones who complain about it, and you keep protesting abut it. It's getting me very annoyed. I don't care if you have the right to protest or not, you're just lucky that Canada, the UK and the USA for example are run by secular states, or else you'd all be dead.

I don't think it's fair that alot of these people leave their countries because of whatever reasons; then while they're in Western Civilization, enjoying a comfortable life they shout aloud all the time in hopes of making their point heard across.

first of all; Most of the West is going to take Israels side. NOT THE ISLAMIC FACTIONS So by protesting, sure you have the right to (let's forget the violence they provoke) despite the right to protest who do you think you guys are messing with, saying Palestine is right and Israel is wrong? Hey guess what? You're in the UK now, you're not in Palestine anymore.

You left the Palstinian territories BECAUSE the life was hard, BECAUSE there was on going turmoil, BECAUSE life was very uncofortable. Now here you are in the UK, driving comfortable taxis, making a beatiful living, you have a nice house to live in. NOBODY bothers you. Alright? If anything, Despite the UK's Religious majority being very vastly Christian, the secular laws bring you a life of companionship among one another, and let you live your life and culture freely as you wish.

So my question is; so what? So what if bad things happened [a million miles away. You are enjoying a better life, you can look ahead and not look back. OR, you can pump the Palestinian situation in physical ways, rather than being a bunch of cowards and just talking loud where the secular laws protect you. Taking some advantage there are we? i mean the Jews do it, don't they? They actually donate to the Israeli army don't they? That's something to start with. You can always not leave your country, and defend it. Rather than leaving and saying "Oh well... we're the victims.. we can't do anything to the Superior infantry of Israel"

Face it, alot of times in the past these immigrants have been known to protest about their caste being hurt in one way or another. Well, you're not the only ones. My heritage as you all know is Italian. To give you an example; in Itaty we have problems. The regions where my parents were born have always been and still are underdeveloped, as of late China has begun buying off some Italian companies, the Mafia has always shaven the Italian economy. Are we complaining. NO. My parents and relatives, some LEFT the old country in search for a better life. Guess what? They found it and have not looked back.

Why can't Palestinians do the same?
You're in America now; Love it or Leave it.
