Wow, that was great!! *+1 Rep* I've got a Mac and luckily haven't had any problems with it so far Hopefully if it falls 3 feet onto tiles it might survive a little better, and if not I might know where to start :P~Tim |

I may not deserve to live, but I will protect those in my reach with my reverse blade!

Interesting to say the least. I have Mac Book Pro, and have dropped it on tile before at heights above 3 feet. I guess the alumniunibody comes in handy. I know this topic is old, but to be honest you're the first person I've heard of that's broke their Mac like that. Edited by Cal, Apr 25 2011, 08:21 PM.

I didn't break the mac. A younger cousin broke it, and I took it upon myself to attempt a repair. As a side note, ANY laptop dropped from any height can occasionally break the hard drive. Mac or not. This is not a Mac problem, it's a hard drive manufacturing issue. The problem I had was getting the HD out. Silly billy.Among other things, I also wanted to repair the large dent in the side of it. Some cosmetic stuff, you know. Edited by Rockman, Apr 27 2011, 12:23 AM.
