Goten and Videl look younger than the did when they fought buu lol, It sorted of look like the same style as the budokai openings. |

I watched it yesterday with my sister. I honestly think it's a pretty bad movie, but I don't feel like complaining, I'm thankful we have some new DBZ stuff to watch! But yeah, the plot is really weak. Vegeta's brother almost has no relevance in this movie, the villains don't offer an exciting fight, Goten and Trunks do the fusion twice without having to wait the 30 minutes (did anyone get that?)... and yeah. I'm not going to say anything else because I don't want to say spoilers. Like I said earlier, it's good enough that we're getting a new DBZ movie. |

ya the movie is weak, the villian is so weak compared to the z-fighters, its pretty cool how gotenks uses yamchas wolf fang fist and i like when yamcha uses spirit ball, but the plot was weak |

Isn't it frustrating how Vegeta's young brother is introduced? He just shows up, Vegeta says he's his brother, and that's it. |

I agree, I enjoyed it too. I found it a bit funny at times, but the plot was still too bland. But I really can't blame them, I found it quite entertaining. |

This is the first time ever that a dbz movie had a villain weaker than the movie villain before it (unless you count Bio-Broly). Also the plot seemed very rushed (SPOILER ALERT). All the minor characters showed up for cameos but most of them didn't even get a line. Vegeta's long lost brother shows up to introduce the threat, then instantly fades into the background, never to be noticed again; The bad guys become good guys without any explanation. Also I noticed that Kibitokai and Elder Kaioshin were at the dinner...so who was watching over the universe while they were getting drunk? However I loved all the parts with Master Roshi. He was as entertaining as ever. And Goku and Vegeta's arguements were pretty funny. I guess overall I'd give this movie a 7/10. It wasn't great, but there have been worse dbz movies. By the way, does anyone know if Toriyama wrote this?I've heard some people say he did and some people say he didn't. Edited by Emperor Cold, Dec 2 2008, 05:59 AM.
