Attention DragonballZ Fans... new movie Dragonball RIPOFF !!! A live action Dragonball movie was planned out 5 years ago after 20th Century Fox bought the rights of Dragonball, Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. We were all promised this film would accurately follow the story line of Dragonball. Now Fox are half way through making the movie, a number of fans have found a large number of changes from the original Dragonball series. In the live action movie, Goku is 18 years of age and attends high school and grandpa Gohan is alive ... Goku does Not have a tail... No Nimbus either, but he does drive a yellow Dodge Charger as a substitute... No Krillin... No Oolong, No Puar, No Tien, No Choutzu or Turtle... and you should see what Piccolo's henchmen look like... We desperately need your help by signing a petition in order of getting this movie changed back "as Promised” to the original "story line" or this movie to be banned, if the will not keep their promise to us, THEIR FAN's. Anyway, I got some awesome news!!!!!!!!!!! It was confirmed that *Goes lines down because it's so exciting* *Write with red font!* *Chänge the text size* it's gonna be streamed over the internet by shoun jumps, for free! Online petitions don't work. It's a waste of time. I don't really care what they do with the movie, even if it does end up being an awful adaptation. I didn't expect much from it when they announced the idea (around) 2003. This is also off topic.
They're going to stream it on their official site. I hope it gets subbed soon, but I'm going to watch the Japanese version as soon as it comes out(even if I can't make out of word of it) Thanks for the posting the newest pic. Lol, Tarble/Table is shorter than Videl. |

Thanks for linking me to this, Bulla! I couldn't be more thrilled right now, can't believe I missed this topic. I thought Akira promised he would never touch in DBZ stuff again, but I'm glad he changed his mind. Table looks adorable and I just can't wait to see this. It's probably going to make up for the live action movie *rolls eyes* |

No prob, I'm totally excited about this too. Not only is he a new character, but he's also a new addition to Vegeta's family. Dragon Ball is still immensely popular in Japan, so I'm not surprised(even if it's been over for so many years.) I'm glad Tori changed his mind. Forget the live movie, if it's awful we can just pretend it never happened... lol just like GT. |

QFT. Such a true statement. And I predict that's what I'm going to do about the live action movie. I'll wait until it comes out and then I'll make a fairer judgement. But right now every new information, video, picture, that comes out just... disappoints me greatly. And Vibe, talk about being a dreamer ahah. I'd love to have at least a couple more movies... If this one gets successful enough, which it most probably will, then I don't see why not keeping making more. DBZ is a market that will always sell, it's a classic of anime. Akira should take advantage of that. It would be good for him... and for us.

I really wish he'd continue, but I think Toriyama was feeling a little over-worked. He had been writing this manga for quite a while and whenever he wanted to end it, we kept asking for more. But he has taken a long break from writing manga and he recently wrote Cross Epoch with Oda, so maybe he's getting back into it. |

I'm totally fangirling right now ^w^ As long as DB is still popular among fans, it will never end and there are still plenty of active Japanese fan-sites so I'm guessing it still has a very large fanbase over there too. |

I guess, but we'll still get to see it, and I'm guessing someone is going to rip it off the site and create a fansub if they takes too long. It's release date was more then a month ago.... It's currently on tour, and 23/11(one they befóre the release date) is the last day on the tour, however it's confirmed it'll be on another tour next year---
Actually That romance never happent in the manga, however, Wouldn't that just be a lovely 3 eyed, sneasing child they could get? Anyway, If Akira don't start working again, who's up for a "go-to-japan-kidnap-a-famous-mangaka-go-home-make-him-work-in-your-bassement-and-go-and-buy-crackers-for-him-tour"?
