Posts: 5,539 Group: Shadow Rep Member #88 Joined: January 16, 2005	Nail: A Namekian. He is a very strong for a namekian and one of the few in his fighting class. He is the personal bodyguard to Guru. Powerlevel, 42,000. Normal namekian fighters ranged from 2,000-3,000. Why or Why Not do you like/dislike him? I liked him. Seemed like the protector of the planet. Little cocky but not in a bad or annoying way. He obviously got crushed by Frieza but he's still pretty powerful. What do you all think of him?

I mean he wasn't given much time for us to form an opinion, but what I saw I thought was cool. He faced up to Freeza and even when he heard the massive power difference, he carried on fighting to his...almost death. I think it would have been cool to see him fight the Ginyu Force with the others, but then I guess that would have changed a lot of the storyline.

Plus I think he could have taken on the Ginyu Force. one on on with Recoome and Guldo. I don't think he could beat Burter or Jiece and he wouldn't stand a chance against Ginyu either. I'd like to see more of him in the series.

Posts: 465 Group: Member Member #3,821 Joined: November 24, 2008	I liked Nail a lot. He had this -no messing- kind of attitude. When Vegeta was insistng on seeing the Guru Nail tells him simple as 'No' Vegeta gets annoyed and smirks thinking he can beat this guy (cause he has killed many other Namekians so far). Nail knows he will fight regardless of win or lose to protect that which is most precious to him (he was stronger than Vegeta at this point but he still would have fought even if Vegeta had been better). This is best proven when he faces Frieza, the look on his face when Frieza tells him his Pl is at 42,000 then tells him his is at 530,000. Nail is gobsmacked but just digs his heels in and fights anyway. nothing he does hurts Frieza but he doesnt give up, he fights to the very end (nearly Frieza leaves him for dead). An honourable warrior with noble intentions. Even when fusing with Piccolo he fully accepts to be in the passenger seat and doesnt try to steal his body (im guessing that it could be possible if one tried to forcibly absorb the other). Just wants to give Piccolo the power to defeat Frieza.

Especially after he fused with Piccolo because even though Piccolo was on the rise as a good guy it definitely jumped after joining bodies.

FireFox Favourite Manga don't have one	I know the whole story arc is basically supposed to be about Saiyans but I really would have liked for Piccolo/nail to be the one to ultimately beat Frezia and be the savior of the planet and not Goku. Don't get me wrong when Goku went super on frezia that was bad *****, but still I would have liked to see Piccolo be the hero there. I am a big piccolo fan and always felt that he should have been right behind Goku in power levels second to only Goku, Vegeta or Gohan. So I guess i would say i like Nail because he fused with Piccolo.
