I agree. I mean, I can understand why most of the female characters have minor roles. A shounen's target audience is young boys so, of course, the male characters will have a larger and more important role in the series. But they went out of there way to make Pan a main character in GT, the least they could have done was give her a few admirable achievements. There were plenty of pathetic minor villains that she could have fought off. I guess they wanted to emphasis how much she needed her grandfather in her life(she did grow to respect him by the end of the series and she realized that she couldn't do everything on her own), but they emphasized it to the point where Pan was incapable of doing anything important on her own. There wouldn't really have been a problem sticking to the standard hair though really, I mean it wouldn't look that bad on a female super sayin, only as bad as it looks on all the others

Haven't seen too much of GT yet but so far I don't mind her. Though she does show the traits of one of those brats who just doesn't understand, which makes me angry. She COULD turn into a good character if her fighting side comes out more and her "lolz i n33d a boifr3nd" side disappears. |

Lmao her fighting side does come out, but she still has her personality consistent throughout the series |

Id have to watch it again to tell, but I always thought Videl was better as far as attitude, but idk, Pan isnt too bad, she can be annoying at times, but when it comes down to it, she will focus into a fight, or something more important rather than stand there and argue. |

My problem with Pan is that she was pretty much the only candidate to become a female Super Saiyan, and she didn't even do that. Along with seeing Gotenks as a teenager, this is my biggest disappointment of GT. |
