Sirius Star hijacking

 Have you heard about the hijacking of the oil tanker called the sirius star? its the biggest ship to be sezied by pirates ever i think was said. The value of the contents are said to be worth serverl millions of dollars worth to

i understand they are negotiating with the pirates but are they going to arrest them when the hostiages are freed because if they dont then they are letting them get away with it which is wrong.

and when cargo is so valubal why dont they get an escort or atleast armed soldiors on the ship.
