I realized the other day that Goku and Vegeta could have wished back their fathers and even their own planet --- Vegeta and the Saiyan race. Seriously, that would have opened a can of worms for a dragonball z/gt saga. It would have been really cool as well to see a character development for K. Vegeta and Bardock and maybe seen them even go super saiyan and fight alongside with the Z fighters. I even imagined them fusing and becoming Bargeta or Vegedock.

I once gave a Kangaroo a heart-attack just by staring at it

The idea has been thought of by Fans hundreds of times before.

The problem would be that if one of the Saiyans were to go SS, and increase in power, then who would stop them?

When SS4 and all that started, it became apparant that the limits of the Saiyans appeared to be non-existant. They evolve through fighting and if they lose, they still get stronger. Eventually they could become the owners of the universe. And that would just take too long to resolve in one saga.

Wouldn't King Vegeta just control the saiyans again? That can't be good for earth,I mean after all,in the past the only thing saiyans cared about was conquering other planets.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Well Goku never actually knew his father so I don't think he would have even thought of bringing him back. When Raditz came he didn't seem to want to acknowledge the fact that he had a family outside of Earth, he had a perfectly good one on Earth.

As for the Saiyan race, after witnessig the power of Goku and Vegeta who by now are more powerful than any of the Saiyans they would probably all try and reach that power and the SSJ state and fight amongst eachother. It'd be carnage!

"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

Just throw them all into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, they'll be fighting for so long that they'll exceed the time limit and become stuck forever :D

It took Vegeta around 6 sagas to change completely. Just think how hard it would be to change an entire race of homicidal egomaniacs. Not a good idea. :<

Didn't Vegeta tell more about Goku's life later in the DBZ story, like around mid Cell Saga?
