~Out on the Tiles~

I don't usually read fiction novels, but this book has quickly become one of my favorites.

As for Dan Brown's style as an author;

Well, I think he has a gift for weaving lots of interesting facts about history, buildings, geography, math and Art into his work. These facts intertwine perfectly with the story and one hardly notices it.

He has a very simplistic writing style. Some would say this makes him a terrible writer (Think Jeffrey Archer), but I feel it makes his book more compelling. When I read it, I literally could not put it down. Every page that I delved deeper - the greater the urge to read further.

I have ordered another of his books to see if this was a one off, or whether he really is one of the most refreshing fiction writers I have ever come across.

Highly recommended to anyone who can read objectively and take a story as a story - nothing more. Moreover, The DaVinci Code is perfect for anyone who usually struggles to find stimulation in fiction, this is a real page-turner!

Has anyone else read it?

I did too. I bought the book for Bryan, but maybe in my spare time during my break I'll start reading it.

I read it a few years ago. I wouldn't read it again though. 1 of the only books I've ever read.

I once gave a Kangaroo a heart-attack just by staring at it

It was alright to me. The only reason I read it all is because I can't stand to "half-finish" a book. Something I hardly say can be applied here.

I read this book and I loved it really good. However I thought the first book Angels and Demons was better. I also think one of his other books Deception Point is better. Deception point is so awesome and is the third book im reading from him. So far all three books I just cant put them down, i love reading them it makes you want to finish it quickly, I lve this author and I can't wait for the lost symbol

These books are absolutely amazing! Once I start reading them, I can't put 'em down! They're amazing, though I have not read any of his (Dan Brown) other books only the ones dealing with Professor Langdon. The movies are not that bad compared to the books. I do enjoy the books over the movie just because books generally are more detailed and if the movie followed every exact detail of the book it'd be VERY long and probably boring?
@-Zero-: Have you read Lost Symbol yet? I hope so! Cause it was amazing, I think the movie is coming out this year or next year (I hope!)
