So in all honesty who's going to the theater to watch this movie? I'm going to be honest, I'm actually going to try and go to the midnight showing of it, if they have a midnight showing lol |

Hell no! This movie going to suck and it will ruin Dragonball. The cast sucks. The concept sucks. And everything about it sucks. I will DEFINITELY "NOT" watch this movie. I have a very fond memory of the entire Dragonball series and I will not let it be ruined by some loser, who knows nothing about anything! He is probably another amature director who thinks the holy grail of film making is "symbolism". Screw this guy and screw his movie! |

Lol I still don't understand the part where people will say the movie will destroy their memories of the anime, I'm sorry it just doesn't make sense to me. I have read books, watched the movie and my views on either were not affected by the other in other words the movie did not ruin the book to me or the other way around. They are two separate things. I believe people use the it will affect my DB memories as just another excuse to bring down the movie. So thats one of the excuses I do not accept into bringing the movie down |

I will most probably watch it online. The best thing to do is just to treat it as seperate to the Dragonball franchise. However I have little to no expectations as to how good it will be :P |

I'm more than likely going to see this movie opening week. There never was or is an anime/ video game adaptation to film that worked perfectly with the game/ or anime. Mary Jane finds out that Peter Parker is Spiderman. This is an upset to the comic book line. Was it still good? Absolutely. Edited by Kotetsu, Feb 2 2009, 01:58 PM.

I dont know if Ill see it or not, the only thing that worries me about it is the little kids who are going to go see it, who will now think that Dragonball is that movie and have no idea what the actual anime is.... and also, does anyone know if the creater knows about this? bc I really dont want him/her/they to think that this movie is how the US views his/hers/their work, i dont want him/her/they to feel any shame. |

Akira Toriyama definately knows about it. I mean he owns Dragonball and everything to do with it, so they'd have to have his permission to release something under the Dragonball name. |

oh yeah by the way about my second post, I'm no trying to say that people shouldn't bash it or anything, I just find that particular excuse not a good one. Anyways I think Toriyama knows about it, but Akira isn't really big on DB sinc well on one of the interviews he did mention he forgot some of the story on DBZ, so I don't think he'll care how the movie turns out, besides it's more money for him |

There are tons of downloads on the net and I think it's already on youtube but I won't watch it for a while. I've already seen a lot of the clips and I know it will suck in my opinion. I just think that if they wanted to make something different from the original story they should have made a whole new movie and not named it dragonball. Either way I know they actually did try to base it off the story due to reading a few interviews and boy, have they *****ed up. lol, 7 mystics? |
Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans  DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.  | |
