Captains can do a turn based-choosing of people. Or we can pick names "out of a hat" through some random generator online

Things like the questions that will be debated, the time period people have to respond and reply, the team break down, how we decide on who goes first. Team titles. Are people going to agree within groups and if not we should be giving tips on deciding how to cope with that. There should be some guidelines that could be prepared for this debate that tell people how things will be done. You can do all that and more before the sections created

Things like the questions that will be debated I said in the OP that anything could be debated. In the major games the subject would probably be something that everybody knows about. i.e the American/British occupation of Iraq. In smaller games. Such as clan battles. The debate can be on anything, a GFX, a video, a quote or a song. The time period people have to respond and reply Again, in the OP I said that the players would have a set amount of days, this varies between matches and whoever the panel are. But for the whole forum matches it would be generally about between 3 and 5 days for the whole debate. The other 2 (presuming that the debate lasted 5 days), One day would comprise of making the teams and the panel arranging the debated subject. The other would be for the panel to decide who voted best. In smaller games, the debated subject could be maybe 2 days, if all players are active. Or even 2 weeks. If the person who set up the game so chooses. How we decide on who goes first This is not an RPG. Whichever team decides to post first "goes" first. Team titles Teams pick their own names. If they want one. But names will only take longer and perhaps cause friction between players. Again, it depends on who sets up the game. Are people going to agree within groups and if not we should be giving tips on deciding how to cope with that ORIGINAL POST! That's what the captains are for. They are responsible for controlling the teams. There should be some guidelines that could be prepared for this debate that tell people how things will be done. You have to follow through on your idea. Team titles...ok I understand. We have to wait on that because we have not set up teams and it could take longer to use names. A vote/poll system of some sort so they can regulate what the majority members of there team wants and what would be the safest most strategic thing to do. It is a good idea and i agree it should be fun. It's your idea and unless you don't wanna do it then we should get started now. Theres no telling when Kyonko will be ready to make the new section. If you pm him the Guidleines you and I have already fueded here then he would simply post those things in that section and then he will make the section. All we have to do is set the rules and send them though. when I first talked to you about this idea, I asked 2 things and those were to #1, Be on the Panel and #2, If you needed any help. You said sure and I replied sayin, ok just pm me or let me know. I'm not tryin to start a fight, im tryin to give you suggestions and keep this idea alive. I'm not telling you to do the whole thing but so far you got a panel which is gr8 but all you've asked for is a section from Kyonko. I havn't seen you do anything else. Kyonko will take his time as long as we dnt do anything. If we start now he will see the progress and hopefully make a section. If he doesnt make the section, its no big deal. At least we'll be organized and ready when ever the section shows up.

In the previous post, you asked: "Who is setting up this game? it's your idea, you should do it." Tell me something. Is there or is there not a mafia game on this forum. And over the two times so far it has been played, the same person has not run the game? Correct? Yes. it is. What it seems you're suggesting is that I run each and every game. When that's not the case. I'm only going to help with a game if I feel like it. Hopefully, there will be quite a few Debating games. and I'm not moderating them all. Sure. I'll help with the large ones. As I hope everybody on this panel will. Because that's why it's called "Weekly Debate" and not "Debate Game". -- You say "We wouldn't have to keep going through this crap" Then stop asking annoying questions, and making it hard to read your posts. It's really annoying when you spell you properly one minute then type u the next. It takes me like 5 re-reading your posts to kind of understand what you are saying. You don't know Kyonko at all do you? He will set up the section when he is ready. Regardless or not how many times you post here. He has the Panel. He has known we are ready for some time. You were here before I was. And yet. It seems like you know very few people beyond name. I don't understand why you have to keep asking for another explanation, or giving another suggestion, because all it does is increase our post counts. We are basically playing the waiting game now. And if the game doesn't work out, then all we will have achieved is nothing but posts. And I care about a lot more than posts.

Kyonko set up his own idea(mafia game) and went through it the first time. You havnt done anything with your idea. My posts are not questions, they're suggestions. Not once did I use a question mark. I think you did overreact, I wasn't asking you to do anything at all. All I said was maybe we should think about getting a few things established before the section is made. If I have to go through this on every idea you come up with then it's pointless to think we'll get anywhere. Arguing is immature. I havn't asked you to give me any explainations. I made suggestions because I thought they would help. If they didn't you could have simply said, your suggestions aren't helping and that your working on it. I wouldn't have said anything at all afterwards. I really don't want to be involved in this idea at all if all we do is post back and forth and waste time, just pm me for anything.
