For some reason DBZ has become interesting to me again since the remastered DVD's have came out. Is this happening to anyone else?

Of course, the Remastered Episodes have been completely redone with the voicing of the current people we know. 5.1 Surround Sound, and scenes that has never been seen before since it's uncut. What's not to be interested?

Well, I haven't seen anything from the remastered version. I might watch one episode soon seeing that you liked it so much.

I think the fact that i forgot parts is also what made things more interesting but ya you should watch a few episodes.

I don't really like the "remastering". Everything looks very pale and white washed, and the widescreen pretty much failed.

It's a nice bargain though. I may actually end up getting the whole series.

I love these boxed sets, so far have season s 1 to 4, need to get 5, and The History of Trunks, Bardock double pack, I need to get movies 1 and 2 double pack as well. Cant wait to own all the collection. They are also making it for GT so I will be getting that too, hopefully they decide to do it for DB

I like the remastered version aswell. I just found it out on youtube and have been watching the Frieza saga. The voices sound better, the picture quality looks so much better and the sound is overall better. It just makes it more intense during fights, oh yeah and I noticed there are bits of swearing and also there are bits that are uncut on the remastered version ie more blood and bruises and not just scrapes all over their bodies like on the original version. The only bad thing about it though is the music.

I've been really interested in DBZ again since they been releasing the remastered versions. I watch them on my laptop and the quality is truely amazing. Plus like mentioned before if you collect all the seasons and put them together they make a cool pic n the side! (much like the english version of the mangas)

But the downside to these are they did take out some classic musical stuff in the series. and also there is always stupid ads for other animes before each season starts and you cannot skip them either :p
