The show is very, VERY average. Even his catchphrase sucks..."Believe it!" I refuse to BELIEVE the illusion that this show keeps trying to shove in my face, that it is hardcore. He only says "Believe it!" in the English Dub. And aside from a few exceptions (FMA, Death Note, DBZ), dubs majorly suck *****. I have to agree with Kotetsu on this one. Naruto, while yes, it IS overrated (But is everything good not overrated?) I think it has a good plot and many good characters. There are the characters we really, really don't like. But it all works pretty fine. Cause they're baddies.

JS: To be honest, when watching the anime I never really notice what they say as individual words. I only catch one word sentences like "Idiot Naruto!" (Baka no Naruto or something) so I never catch him saying Dattebayo more than once every few episodes

I say it's overrated because I'm always hearing how it's the best anime every made or all time best and that kind of thing. Now while it is excellent, I don't think it's anywhere near close to being the best anime ever made.

So I'll say Dragonball Z is one of the most overrated television shows I have ever seen. for these reasons. -extremley repetitive storyline -to much of the same repetitive and lame dialogue -Characters are densley centered for attention; leaving the rest of the cast virtually invisible -Storyline lacks information (for example.. what kind of species is Frieza.. he is one of the main antagonists after all!) By the way; everyone is saying Naruto, there may be some biased circulating here. Aren't the anime fans of DBZ and the anime fans of Naurto the bitterest rivals when it comes to day time TV I've never watched Naurto though so I most definetley can't agree or disagree.

Kishimoto is the one who wrote Naruto and he was inspired from dbz, same with the one piece mangaka(sp?). Everyone who says that Naruto is bad, are you watching the dub or sub? When I used to watch it, it was always the subs, not the dubs, so, that I am not missing anything. The dubs are terrible. After watching subbed episodes up to the second test of the Chunnin exam, I checked the next dubbed episode and upon hearing naruto's voice in english, I automatically closed it and tried to find a subbed version In terms of story, Naruto has a very good and exciting story and even if you decide not to watch the anime, the manga has hit a climax with the latest issue on Friday and there are still some more to come Naruto was the push that got me into the anime world

FMA anime is overrated as I can't rlly seem 2 enjoy watchin pass episode 30 with all the dark & sad story. Definitely overrated.
