But I wanted to say that I've watched a couple episodes of Naruto recently, and I liked them! It's visually in a much superior level than most of the other animes I know. The scenes I saw were intense and well done, I don't see why you're all saying it is overrated. But then again, I know nothing about anime.

Naruto has everything a good anime should, and then some: action, comedy, suspense, romance (sort of), and ninja! Just because it's good, doesn't mean it's overrated. DBZ is overrated...lol

I never really got into any of them and the characters were totally boring. Screaming fangirls and whiney fanboys made it worse.

The phrase, Believe it, was the english filler for when Naruto said the words Datebayo. It's kind of like Desu. Makes no sense and it's said often enough to be annoying. If anyone is ever able to get past Naruto, Naruto shippuuden, IN ENGLISH SUBS, is by far a great anime. But you can't watch Shippuuden without watching at least the main story line of Naruto. You won't understand what's going on. Shippuuden takes out the Datebayo, Takes out the LOOONNNGGG flash backs, Cuts WAY back on the fillers, and gets to the point. Again, English translations never do any anime justice. EVER.
