 I wasn't comparing, I was just saying, just because someone is good at club level, it doesn't mean they will be good at international level.

to be honest, i don't know much about Cole. So I won't speak bland comparing his play between England and Premiship, or history with the English team. Although Maldini has a good history with Italy.

And I was never comparing Puyol and Maldini on the international level only. I don't know why viddy mentioned he was retired, he just confused us all. but you know what, I like this chat but I won't continue it here in this topic.
