You are studing Dragonball Z? lol :s

Do you think Dragonball Z promotes violence to children?

As much as any other violant cartoon, I'd say it depends on the child more than anything. But mostly, no, I don't belive it promotes it to children, some might try to play it out but nothing serious.

Do you think Dragonball Z is too violent for young kids?

No, the english dubed version I belive is very heavery censored for much of the violance and such, not sure about the original version, never seen it. I'd say it's probably not suitible for children below 12 but that's about it, because of language and such.

Do you think Dragonball Z is violent?

I guess so, being something about fighting, lol, but it's not really something I've ever seen as being too serious.

Dragonball z doesn't promote violence to kids at all, since they fly and what not the majority of kids don't tend to imitate it. Children imitate more realistic things.

For really young kids, 4-5 could be, because of the handtoo hand fighting... maybe.

All in all Dragonball Z isn't violent it's REALLY mild compared to other animes/mangas.

If was about the uncut version then maybe, due to the blood and swearing.

You can't go on a rampage on other planets just for kicks, not even office ladies get that bored.

Dragonball Z would encourage weak violence in children as they would hit each other but that is about it.

Dragonball Z would most likely be inappropriate for very young children.

Dragonball Z violence is so weak its probably not even worth calling it violence rather than rough-housing.

I would have to say the uncut/original version is violent, maybe. More blood and swearing but nothing a 12 year-old can handle.

But since we're not....7 years being the lowest to our teenage/adult years.

Oh hell yeah it's violent so many things that should've been (and were) cut. And by god it is to much for children.

The rating should at least be... AT LEAST... TV14
The greatest Ninja ever: Uchiha Obito

The Strongest of all Saiyans: Son Goku

Sandiyu
"Don't waste your tears over me Princess Kayuki..."
Kayuki Kanahana
"You fool... I can't cry, you have my eye drops..."

No, I dont think Dragonball Z promotes violence to young children. They may try to play some of the scenes out, but thats about the worst of it.

The uncut version of Dragonball Z may indeed be too violent for kids below 12, Freeza impaling Krillin with all the blood comming out comes to mind...the cut version however, is fine.

In a way..Dragonball Z is in essence about fighting, but it is not much that makes you gringe like in horror movies etc, mostly just simple hand to hand combat with hardly any blood involved..only a few scenes display a large amount of violence. And most of that is cut in the TV versions.

I don't believe it promotes violence to kids. Everyone here watched DBZ as a kid, and it has not caused anyone to be aggressive. It is a cartoon that anyone can enjoy.

Do you think Dragonball Z is too violent for young kids?

Same answer as above.

Do you think Dragonball Z is violent?

It has graphic scenes, but most were edited on cartoon network. As long as kids watch the edited version, then there is no problem.

Dragonball Z is violent. However, I don't think it promotes violence. If anything, it would promote martial arts, because that's how the fighting was introduced to us in DB. Remember Master Roshi's wise words when he was advicing Krillin to fight for the right reasons, he said something like "I won't teach you how to fight if all you want is to impress girls and show off". Moreover, the idea of training your mind and studying was also across the whole series.
In DBZ the fights become more unreal as we're introduced to the (AMAZING) ki blasts. I believe kids understand that what they're seeing is pure fiction, and can't be done in reality.

Do you think Dragonball Z promotes violence to children?

Pain is not displayed in any great detail and the action is far from real so no it wont be replayed by children

Do you think Dragonball Z is too violent for young kids?

No, the violence is very fictional and doesn't represent that of real violence

Do you think Dragonball Z is violent?

The sence of what actually happens (people dying, world blowing up etc) is a extreme idea but done in the nature doesnt pass over the emotion or effect of the violence. The violence is very cartoony and therefore doesnt show the evil of what it would be like in real life.

If anything it makes kids want to do good in the world. I don't think anyone would say Goku or Gohan or any of them are bad role models.

On the surface, yes, it is (ostensibly) rather violent. However, nearly every action in a real fight -- beyond sparring or the Budokai -- is shown to have its repurcussions.

i would say it is, just look at some battles, vegeta dies against frieza and is barried in the ground, krillen explodes, vegeta is all bloody in some fights and some other z-fighters. i would say its violent for sure but i love it :)

I think it premotes Martial Arts, not violence, I dont see many 4 - 5 year olds jumping around corners scaring people screaming "Kamehameha!" ect.
