Firefox	BlackØut May 31 2008, 05:27 PM I thought the Frieza saga was excellent. It was long, but there was plenty of story and fighting to keep it interesting. I thought the Majin Buu series went on way too long. By the halfway point there was only Buu to fight against the Z Fighters. At least in the longer ones like the Frieza and Cell series, there were many different enemies they had to fight (Zarbon, Dodoria, and the Ginyu Force in the Frieza series, and the Androids and Cell in the Cell series). I agree only to the points with the Frieza Saga. It was original. There was lots to do. There was a variety. Overall it was something to do with the actual Dragonballs for pity's sake. The Cell and Buu saga's had about 3 interesting characters in both of them. Even the Ginyu Force beat that by itself. Large amounts of: Goku - MY GOD I MUST HOLD THIS POSE FOR THE NEXT 5 EPISODES! No fighting. And no Dragonballs. What's the point of calling a show Dragonball Z, when you only have 1 storyline with the Dragonballs in it? Another sign of things going bad, is when you bring Time Travel into an already unbelievable story. Trunks = V. Bad. and V. Boring because when he showed up, all of the standing around for 20 episodes happened. So my theory is, that Trunks elongates everything. Overall, they took all of what made Dragonball Z appealing, removed it, replaced it with filler upon filler and told a story that could have happened over the space of and hour and a half, and stretched it so long, that the saga ended up taking about 2 months to watch. Only parts i liked about that saga is Goku vs Majin Vegeta and Mystic Gohan..other than that it blew and Buu not being able to speak really good english didnt help it, unlike frieza and Cell who were really funny at times. I didnt really notice as I was too into it haha. I prefered The Cell Games saga. Although I did get annoyed how some episodes ended.
