Well.. have somewhat of a talk about individual sports here.. from MMA to Boxing, to single tennis.. I just decided to bring this up because i thought to myself "there's no pride in watching an individual sports" let's say george saint pierre wins the UFC title. Good for him, he does not represent me, he is not a sports team that puts your city on the map.

When it comes to individual sports i'd much ratheer do them.. i like doing them, but i can't say i'm interested in watching them.

your thoughts

LOL the fat guy with the glasses is right.. he shouldn't refer to Liverpool as WE. He lives 2000 miles away from Liverpool. the Liverpool football team represents Liverpool, not.. wherever he is.

It doesn't represent any person not involved with the game, that's the point it's making.

that's where i completely disagree, a football team isn't just the 11 players on the pitch, theres the manager, coaches, scouts, physios, financial workers, owners, reserve team, youth teams and fans, if there were no fans there would be no team, who would buy the merchandise, tickets, which all generate money, so yeah, fans of a team can refer to themselves as "we"

no fans = no team

no team = no fans

(ooops sorry bout goin off topic, just noticed your other topic)
