Just a possibility, didn't Gohan loose his SSJ2 powers when spopobetch(whatever their names are) and the other guy drained his energy? Kabito even said that during he was healing him, it might take a while for him to regain all of his power and after Buu was destroyed, Gohan went back to studying and whatever. So I'm just saying maybe he can't turn SSJ2 anymore. I don't think he can't turn SSJ2 anymore. I think he just needed time to recover. I mean in the anime, after he was healed, he felt "even stronger than before" according to himself. In terms of him not turning SSJ2 anymore after Buu, I am not too sure if that's possible. I would think he can but he lost some of his power. Too bad they didn't show you that he was juggling studying and training, because, I'm sure he could

Microsoft Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	He wasn't ssj2, no lighting = no transformation. It would make sense for him to go ssj2, but he didn't. If talking about the hair, then in the movie, sometimes gohan has two strands of hair and sometimes he has one. in the manga, it shows him as a supersaiyan with both two and one strand of hair down. He needs time to go ssj2, and he probably would have gone ssj first, then later gone 2.

Posts: 802 Group: Member Member #2,807 Joined: October 31, 2007	Look at when gohan went ssj2 in the world tournament against the kai, it took him a while to power up but against broly he just went ssj like all the sayians do, obviously he was ssj not an ssj2 ..... every ssj2 like gohan, vegeta, goku all have electric aura around them, it always shows the electricity but there was not one form of electric aura around gohan at all ..... he just looked like a ssj and faught like one to, ssj2 are much faster and powerful
