For once, why coulden't Vegeta have finished off a big enemy I mean, he sacrificed himself to kill Majin Buu, and the freak still regenerated.

Posts: 7 Group: New Member Member #3,519 Joined: July 2, 2008	there are quite a few things which really pissed me of... the power gaps between z fighters... i mean power gaps were so huge between them all, at dragon ball we could hardly see the power gaps, of course goku was always the strongest one but it wasn't so clear as it was shown at dbz and not to talk about gt. also when gohan reached new lvl by supreme kai's help he was a mystic gohan as strong as goku super saiyan 3, but at gt gohan was a weaklink like all other sayians and even vegeta.... not to talk about krilin, jamcha, tien and picolo... the power gaps started to feel really fast at dbz seazons when earhlings had no chance to reach same lvls as sayians...picolo became all the time less and less usefull that was actualy what made dbz very boring in the end... also i think funianime shouldnt release the gt it was complete failure, so boring and bringing back goku as kid was worst idea ever, i couldn't stand it. FF Favourite Manga N/A	Slade Apr 28 2008, 12:49 PM I hate how everyone says, "Oh i didnt like Frieza saga cause Freiza said Namek would blow after 5 minutes and it took 60 episodes" When, Frieza only GUESSED 5 minutes, could have been longer or shorter but do you actually think Frieza can somehow predict a planets stability when the cores been blown out??? But it also happened in the Cell saga as well lol because Cell was saying he will explode in 10 seconds and it was more like 35-40 LOL

The only story arc where this really isn't employed would be the Saiyan arc where Vegeta underestimated his opponents. Ah, This is the aspect of the series that annoys me most. The highest power level always determines the victor of the fight. It would be nice to see one of the weaker characters succeed through a clever strategy rather than a "new level" of brute strength. I also hated how the weaker characters became useless bystanders as Goku became stronger and stronger. They rely on him way too much. I'm not going to even bother explaining what irritated me about GT(we already discussed this in another topic anyway)

Firefox/Safari Favourite Manga Magical X Miracle	For me, it always has been and always will be the way they like to mournfully/powerfully cry or whimper each others names randomly, for example when Gohan was fighting cell and then the screen switches to Piccolo who randomly murmured "Gohan..." I always found it pointless and annoying. That, and the fact that no matter how angry the opponents are with each other, they seem to always manage to take a pause to share banter with each other about their power levels, fighting styles, or boasting about what they'll be like when they power up enough (Cell) Surely if they were that pissed with each other, the INSANE amounts of testosterone that must be flowing through their veins to make them so bulky and competitive would make sure there was no chitchat, just 24mins of men, women and children beating the *** out of each other. Well, sort of. My definition of "character development" is a bit different. It's the other way around in my opinion. Characters like Vegeta and Krillin changed gradually in personality and morality(facing the consequences of mistakes and learning from them), but Goku hardly had any real distinguishable character flaws to begin with. He starts off as a heroic individual and ends as a heroic individual. No development and no relate-ability. Just a character whose always there when you need him. ..and we only get a small glimpse of the personalities of characters like Yamcha and Tenshinhan. I wish we could have learned more about them. Also the Power Level that fans put in fansites make completely 0 sense and comments about Goku >> everything just get me very unset. Other than the fans making the DB Franchise look bad there's alot of plot hole especially on the Buu saga and i really hate Toei for making DBgt for so much reasons. Last but least the thing that piss me off about DB is the filler because people who doesn't read the manga think there canon in fact it actually the complete opposite. How is it that more powerful characters and enemies come along in exact succession to each other? What if Majin Buu just showed up during the Frieza Saga and whooped everyone's *** and killed them all? There would be no show anymore lol. And yeah, the only way any bad guy was killed was someone reaching a new power level after being really outmatched or someone sacrificed themselves, there was no creativeness to their attempt at killing the bad guy. It would start out even or outmatched, then the bad guy would transform and kick * then a good guy would transform and it would be even or more strong, then the bad guy would transform again and kick everyone's *** again. It got so predictable. IMO, they should've had Gohan end up being the most powerful or something, that could've been interesting. So, my major gripes are just about the power levels, it seems like Dragonball became just about reaching new power levels rather than being creative. If anything, I would rather not have them make a new series, but pretend like DB GT never happened and start a new series from the end of DBZ, taking the place of DB GT.
