It's funny that some guys find it difficult to talk to girls. I think it's because they put them on a pedestal rather than treating them as an individual. All you guys have to remember is that girls are people too, and when they talk, pay attention to what they are saying because they love that! Lol it's an opposite effect for me. I have had a hard time talking to guys because I am shy around new people, and whenever I talk about sports, games, cars, etc. they will look at weirdly especially if I show them my skittles/skills in sports. For example, I remember this kid was talking about DBZ. I started pointing out the characters on his paper, and he looked up at me as if he has seen a ghost lmao. It was the most odd situation I had been in, but over the years it has been something I expect. Throughout the years, I often questioned why guys went after the girls, who were ZzZzZzz or a simply a pretty face. However, I don't question it anymore because I have someone, who appreciates my uniqueness. |

If you get teased, make sure you call the teaser a slacker because it worked for me.
Oh and Dark Slade I take that offensive.

Guys get intimidated by girls quite often when they're around them because they're afraid of the expectations the girls might have about them. Everybody likes to look good and cause a positive impact on the people they socialize with, specially in today's world, considering that our image has become our most important presentation card, that's why some people find it hard to talk to girls without feeling nervous and feeling that they need to be aware of how they're looking all the time. I'm not really like that, though, I guess I was born to be a sociable person. I'm always craving for travelling the world and get in touch with different cultures, different people... |

If the girl is a friend then I don't really have a problem, I just see them the same way as my other friends. If it's someone I'm interested in or find attracted to then it's different. I don't really get intimidated when I talk to them, I just become more aware of what I'm doing. I tend to be a bit quiter and have less input then when I'm with my friends. And yeah I also worry more about what I look like. I agree with Pineapple that the reason is because of how much people these days care about the image they are putting across, and rather than just be themselves they worry about what the girl will think. |

I have no problem making friends with a girl, but as soon as i start getting those old butterflies I go blank. I think it's mostly because I've been rejected time and time again :(, Oy I'm a sad panda
