If Majin Vegeta didn't trick Goku then they would have still continued fighting. Only because Goku was holding back He already had the ability to turn ss3 then and he says he was holding back too... Anyway Majin Vegeta hands down..SS2 Gohan was crap WHAT? Majin Vegeta winning this easily yes... SS2 Gohan crap, no just no. It was SS2 Gohan that beat Cell an extremly strong opponent, how can he be crap? At that time he was the strongest of all fighters. If he had kept training he would still be the strongest around the Buu saga

He clearly stated in a way they were stronger then when Gohan fought Cell. 1. Older 2. Techniques 3. Training (Well, I can't really say that for Majin Vegeta since he hadn't unlocked it yet)

At his young age, what really made up his power was his anger so yeah that's my opinion..

Also it took two punches to bring Cell to his knees without any hard effort too, and when he was fighting Cell super perfect, Gohan's energy was drained and he was only using one arm kamehameha. Can you imagine what he could have done if he used both of his arms?

And now im thinking, remember vegeta is very cocky and always thinks hes better than all the z-fighters. When goku and majin vegeta faught they were going all out fighting but gohan wasnt trying against cell at all. If gohan went all out against vegeta it would be very close, gohan would probally win if vegeta hurt someone he loved like his dad or mom or videl. Gohan's power comes out by his emotions so if he gets really mad vegeta could lose, remeber gohan might be a half sayian but he is very strong, goku even says that he always kept up with the z-fighters even when he was a kid. plus look when majin vegeta is going to fight ssj2 goku, hes so ready to fight and all pumped up and hyper to beat up goku and hes letting off alot of energy, gohan was calm and just wanted to make cell suffer. its close i dont know ssj2 gohan > < ssj2majin vegeta
