I also have many friends that have various box sets that I like, so it's not that big of a deal for me. But I do plan to buy Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

It lists all of the anime/manga I've seen: Anime List Most of my favorite american cartoons are the 80s/90s ones I grew up with, I haven't read too many american comics though.

My brother owns the boxset for sign, but it didn't really catch my interest(same with roots) I usually stick to josei, well-written shoujo, and the occasional shonen or seinin. I should get round to watching more anime, soooo lazy. I mostly disliked the characters in Roots, but the music(Ali Project) wasn't so bad. I really wish I had the time and money to watch more anime, but I have an overwhelming amount of work now that I'm in college and there are too many issues with family/friends that I have to sort out. Lol, I miss being a little kid. I usually stick to manga now because they're cheaper and you can read them anywhere. The stories are usually better than the anime adaptation imo as well.
