Animal Cruelty

Animal Cruelty is the abuse inflicted onto many animals mainly which is caused by humans.

Some causes of Animal Cruelty is where when animals are born, they give them a happy life by feeding them up so they get big and buff only for the animal to find out a couple of months later they would be served at a butcher shop or a meats supply.

Many people think that hiutting animals and what not is right, i don;t agree with that, i believe that you only hit or harm animals at a young age when you are trying to teach or discapline it.

Animal testing is something that has been going on for a while now, people say that it is a better substitue then humnas, but grabbing poor healthy animals isn't the right thing to do, it should only be tested "against" sick or near to death animals.

Recently the Japanese have ben hunting whales down for a reason they claim to say "Experitments", how many hales do they need? 50 000? to just carry out an experiment.

Can you imagine all the pain and conflict inflicted on Animals who star on asian channels where you see dogs ridings bikes etc.

What do you think about Animal Cruelty?

*****es the hell out of me, i guess i could be described as a "nature" person as i have 2 dogs, 4 cats, ducks (which are friendly), chickens, horses, peahens, and i've grown up with animals all my life, and i agree that when a dog is at a young age it has to be hit, not hard but enough to discipline it, especially if it growls or bites, but when i hear about these yobs who pull the legs off cats and hang dogs it's so infuriating, if they spent a minute with these creatures, then the though that there is something more to these creatures would probably enter their pea sized brain

what the japanese are doing is wrong, everyone knows there just using science as an excuse to make money off these whales

Animal testing is debatable, i think it should only be done for medicinal reasons, not cosmetics or such

Animal Cruelty is extremely bad. Yes I do think there should be testing animals ONLY and ONLY if its a medical reason, and they better have advanced with it pretty darn good to make sure they don't have to do it many times. However experimenting with animals to see what they can get is just damn cruel. As for food, we all need to eat, animals also kill each other to eat, that much is part of nature

I have different stance on the different areas of Animal Cruelty.

I don't agree with hunting animals for products such as fur, ivory, sports or "experiments". However, I do agree that animals should be hunted for food, although as quick a death as possible to save the suffering.

I'm a bit on the fence with animal testing because if in order to develop a cure for cancer, AIDs or other diseases we have to test on a few animals then I'm ok with that. I'm not ok with testing for products like make-up or shampoo.

I think pet animals should only be hit if they have done something wrong just to let them know not to pee in the house or rip up furniture. However, I obviously don't agree with neglect and to a certain extent over-caring.

ah you guys mentioned something i forgot, hunting animals for sport, personally, i don't how it is a sport, a sport is meant to be a fair game, how is it fair when one contestant has a gun, and the ability to use it, a lot of my friends hunt, and brag about it, what's so great about shooting a harmless rabbit?

though i have a slightly different view on fox hunting, where i come from there are a lot of farms, mainly sheep and chickens, these get killed a lot by foxes as they have no natural predators, i think that fox hunting is okay if it's done humanely and only to keep numbers down

Im against hunting for a sport also. Over here where I live they hunt deer, but thats to keep the numbers down, otherwise it would be too many deer on the streets, but then they use it for food also

I typically don't view animal cruelty and hunting in the same boat.

Hunting has been around since the beginning of man, it's not necessarily a cruel habit, as it is a natural way of survival.

Some hunting is done just for fun with no excuses what so ever. Only hunting I agree with is for food, and to make sure they don't over populate, but there is hunting just for sport where they go and hunt animals for no reason, Im against that

if they eat the animals they hunt then i haven't really got a problem with that, but when people go out and shoot something like a polar bear or a tiger for the fun of it with no real reason, then that annoys me
