This happend on the 10th of February, so really two days ago, yet I noticed no one made a topic about it on this forum. Not sure if any of you heard about it or not.

This was planned pretty well from the turnout and everything, also from reading parts in places it seems they didn't break any laws so they where in their rights. Though the Church of Scientology might not agree with that.

EncyclopediaDramatica might not be the most realible source for many things, in this case though it seems to cover many of the details of it and has links to official news storys and quite a bit of detail, some of it maybe be said in silly ways, though you can just skip to the news links.

This is the link to the article.

Do you belive they where in their rights to protest? Also what are your views?

I read articles that some of them hacked some websites. That's not within any law I've heard of. However I stand by what they did regardless. Laws or not. I feel this protest is the right thing to do.

A 1971 ruling of the United States District Court, District of Columbia (333 F. Supp. 357), specifically stated, "the E-meter has no proven usefulness in the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease, nor is it medically or scientifically capable of improving any bodily function."[221] Scientology now publishes the following disclaimer in its books and publications: "By itself, the E-meter does nothing. It is an electronic instrument that measures mental state and change of state in individuals and assists the precision and speed of auditing. The E-Meter is not intended or effective for any diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease"[222] and that it is used specifically for spiritual purposes.

It's a scam. Nothing more. Every person of every religion/ non religion should stand against this.

I was refering just to the protest, not what they have done on the internet. The protest itself came across as being more aginst what they do rather than the "religion" itself, from what I've seen from videos that have had protesters speaking in them.

Though you can understand why they want to cover their faces and not give out their names, considiner the record Scientology has.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

So... people of the religion Scientology are being segregated? That's the protest? If so, it's understandable.

No? The protest is about the actions of the cult, it's not been done by members of it, though some may have taken part, who's to say. Read the article.
