I drink quite alot at parties, enough to be drunk, but we only have parites like that every month/2 months but other than that i rarely have any except at christmas, birthdays and the ocasional England Rugby/Football game, where i only have 1 or 2.
I know Drinking is dangerous and all that, but its terribly fun haha. They are some of the best memories, of what i can remember lol. Drunken Wii, Drunken Trampoline (which was quite stupid), Drunken Fire Tricks (Never Again, but fun cos no1 got hurt), Girls (proberbly the best haha) and general things that i did and get told about at the next school day haha.

I don't drink. I won't drink. I'm not planning on ever drinking. I've seen people drinking but they weren't wasted or anything and I haven't been pressured to try it but I do think it relates with "coolness" in teenage life. And I don't want the experience either.

Alcohol...Is like Money...

Some people can't have enough *Cough Tom Cruise cough*

I like having a drink. It helps me be less self-concious. But I wouldn't get drunk to the point of a large amount of vomit needing to be produced. Or to not know what I was doing.
I don't drink every other day like some people I know. I only drink at most once a month. Or on special Occasions (Xmas, birthdays etc). And that's fine for me.

I don't understand why people like to spend their time in a pub just standing around and drinking. That seems pointless to me.

Well maybe to some people, depends on the group, I've never thought it as being cool to drink and get drunk. Just drink to have fun, nothing wrong with having fun with friends. Of course, don't need to drink to have fun, but sometimes it's a change. But fair enough you don't want to experience it, that's your choice :3

Well I've sat around in a pub with friends drinking and talking, it's a nice enviroment to talk in. As is a house, the only thing I don't get is people going into a pub and sitting with people drinking but not talking or anything else, that seems pointless.

There's nothing wrong with drinking, you just have to be responsible and know what you're doing.

Everybody knows I love going out, and I love to drink. I don't think there is much to debate here.

Live life and have fun, respect yourself and those who surround you and everything will be fine.

It doesn't, only in constant alcohol abuse but then abuse of any susbtance is going to do significant damage to the body.

Constant weed abuse will do more than constant alcohol abuse.

weed doesn't do much damagae to the body, it's mentally, which is why it's more dangerous

There has not been one recorded overdose resullting from weed.

Alcohol leads to
Liver Disiese
Cardivascular disiese
Kidney Disorder
Weight Gain
Alcohol Poisoning

Weed Leads to;
Halucinations

So basicly if you are not responsible you can drink 25 shots of baccardi in one night and die unless you get your stomach pumped

and you never heard of anybody ODing from a bunch of Canabis right?

It's possible to though, just takes a lot, too much to really want. Yes in the phsyical effect, Alcohol is more dangerous but mentally, Weed is.

The diffrence between the effects of them is weed causes damage to the brain functions, alcohol to the body, I guess abusing alcohol by getting so drunk every day would also have effects on the brain, like most drugs.

Think is, it takes less weed to harm the brain.

1) Liver Disiese
2) Cardivascular disiese
3) Kidney Disorder
4) Weight Gain
5) Alcohol Poisoning

-----

1) Okay yeah, but only if you abuse it, I've been drinking for what? Two years, I have no addiction to alcohol and not problems because of it. I haven't drunk anything in a month or so.
2) Again, abuse.
3) Abuse.
4) I think this is a myth, there is no such thing as a beer belly, lol. Weight gain is the result of a bad diet but most constant drunks eat a lot and have a bad diet. I've lost weight since I started drinking, so there you go.

-----

Weed Leads to;
1) Halucinations

-----

That's not all, well that's more of a one time effect isn't it?
What about:

= Depression
= Scitsophrinia

Lung Cancer might be a possiblity but I'm not to sure. Eitherway, I'd rather get a Kidney transplant than damage my brain, the brain is more important, it can't be replaced.

Well, I was gonna include Lung Cancer in that list i made, because as much of a long shot as it is, from smoking pot, it is also a closer shot to get Alcohol Cancers to abusing alcohol, so that statment is nulled.

Myth: Marijuana Can Cause Permanent Mental Illness. Among adolescents, even occasional marijuana use may cause psychological damage. During intoxication, marijuana users become irrational and often behave erratically.

Fact: There is no convincing scientific evidence that marijuana causes psychological damage or mental illness in either teenagers or adults. Some marijuana users experience psychological distress following marijuana ingestion, which may include feelings of panic, anxiety, and paranoia. Such experiences can be frightening, but the effects are temporary. With very large doses, marijuana can cause temporary toxic psychosis. This occurs rarely, and almost always when marijuana is eaten rather than smoked. Marijuana does not cause profound changes in people's behavior.

So to answer your statments on what the effects of Marijuana are; Abuse

and Marijuanna is Abused less frequently than Alcohol, if not at all. You've never heard of a "Pot Junkie" have you, or anybody else. Hard Drugs lead to abuse, dependence and breakdown. Alchol abuse leads to 1,2,3,4 that i mentioned.

But that doesn;t mean we should all stop drinking does it? Like the Television commercials say "Don't Drink and Drive" "Drink Responisbally" You know it, and i Know it.

I could even say; Alcohol leads to abuse, but that may be pushing it

Myth: Marijuana is Highly Addictive. Long term marijuana users experience physical dependence and withdrawal, and often need professional drug treatment to break their marijuana habits.

If you're interested to see what the Facts are click this
http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths/
and this isn't just some site created by some little kid as you can see.

Maybe they should legalize Marijuanna, but I won;t even go there because that topic is just around the corner.

Weed effects are widly contested, there are studies that show either way, because it effects the brain, it's hard to really tell, the brain is a complex thing.

Eitherway, this topic is about Alcohol, not the comparison of Alcohol to Weed, I don't want to smoke weed or even chew it, smoking is a disgusting habit.
