Broly vs. The Hulk

Fair enough.

In all seriousness then, I believe Broly would win too, but only just barely. As Hulk gets stronger with the more angry he gets, he also seems to loose any form of self control (no duh!), therefore would lead him to make sloppy mistakes. Whereas Broly does have a tendency to go on mad rampages too, he seems more focused when in a fight so it would lead him to anticipate Hulks attacks and avoid them. Broly also has a background of some form of martial arts, he's not just a heavy hitter like Hulk, so he would be able ot launch well executed attacks which are made to inflict the highest amount of damage to an opponent.
There is the concept of Broly's ki attacks which in all fairness have the power of small nuclear arms. If Broly kept his distance and fired continuous blasts at Hulk, Im sure he could destroy him while he is in mid-regeneration (as Im sure Hulk would have to remain momentarily immobile whilst regenerating serious injuries). Its like Cell in that aspect, by destroying him enough so he cant regenerate e.g. destroying his entire body.

I like your point about Broly having a more stable mind. Odd quality to say Broly has over another guy but it might be the case. I'm not very familiar with the Hulk's state of mind in different forms but I think I actually read somewhere that in his new, and possibly most powerful form, he has much more calm state of mind. Not sure about this though but I know if not his most powerful, one of his most powerful forms, is quite smart and rational.

As for the regeneration, you have to keep in mind that the comic world has quite a different form of it. Think about either the X-Men or Hulk movies, both Hulk and Wolverine just automatically regenerate without having to focus on it. So I don't think the Hulk would be doing any sitting around.

Also a lot of characters in comics take hits from stuff WAY more powerful than just a nuke(I'd think Hulk would be in this category) and pretty easily survive. I'm not sure how a blast from Broly would compare with say, getting hit by a planet, or something along those lines. There's stuff a lot worse than that too.

It's just hard to convert power of one character from one universe to the other. Some people think a ki blast in the comic world would amount to nothing while others think it could destroy a galaxy. I'm not sure but I'd like to think they would be quite destructive and useful in the comic world. Well I seem to be typing a *****load for these posts. I need to calm down, somebody else should say something now.

I know what you mean about the healing, but Im talking about massive damage. Take Wolverine for example, he had his adamantium ripped out of his body by Magneto and took a while to recover, it wasnt just instantly. In the Word War Hulk series, Hulk sustains a massive hit from an explosion which basically leaves him without skin (near enough bone and muscle), and he has quite a hard time recovering from that, although it is within a few moments, he had to remain quite still and focused. Take into account that the WWH version is his strongest form so far. I believe Broly would catch on to this weakness and finish him off.

Or dope him up to calm him down :p

Okay this is wierd.
BHroly is obviously gonna start blasting Hulk, Hulks gonna get madder, which makes him stronger then Brolys probaly gonna keep it up, unless Broly can blast him to smitherenes in ne hit and send him into the sun, Hulk wins.

Lets not forget that Brolly gets stronger as well and basically pukes out energy. (Movie 8)

You're right there, he even says in the movie that his power is constantly rising. The only reason Goku defeated him was because that he had taken enough energy from the other Z-Fighters to rise to a level which Broly had yet to increase too himself...In otherwords he NOs'd to the finishline before Broly.

One of the biggest deciding factors for me would be how Broly's blasts would affect Hulk. I just looked at a pic from a comic of Hulk withstanding a million degree nova blast from the Human Torch, a full power lighting strike from Storm, and some kind of energy blast from Silver Surfer. Not to mention it's specifically stated that he can endure extremely powerful energy blasts without injury. Then of course, even if he was affected he can even regenerate after having his skin flayed off.

Another couple of factors I'm wondering about are comparisons between the two in raw power and who can power up the most. I really have no idea about who would have more strength. While the Hulk is certainly impressive and has shown feats demonstrating his strength, Broly hasn't really done too much other than easily demolishig buildings and using Vegeta to make a massive crater. As for who can power up more, the Hulk is pretty much limitless in how angry and powerful he can get(which increases not just strength, but durability and his regeneration as well, I think size too), but as far as we know Broly's power just naturally keeps increasing too. Or as Brolly'ssweetface said, he pretty much has so much power he's puking it out lol.

The more I think about this the more even I see it getting. I think it would be much easier if we had more to go one with Broly but we only saw him in a couple short movies. Broly is still winning but he's just barely hanging on to said win.
