1. What's the deal with all the bad guys that get killed? At different times they are shown in hell with their bodies and all so do they just sit around down there or what? I'd think they'd train like hell to try and get revenge somehow. 2. Anyone else think it's kind of lame that when Goku went to the otherworld tournament he was the most powerful warrior of all time? I think they should have had way more variety in the way of power levels and possibly some strong fighters from other times or areas. Not to mention guys just sit down there and train for thousands of years after being heroes from wherever they came from. I think Goku should have been closer to the bottom of the barrel and in awe at how powerful beings could get rather than just able to wreck whoever he wants. PS. This makes me think of another question. I'm pretty sure the answer is obvious but during the whole timeline of the Z fighters was all that went on covering all of existance, or was it more restricted to a part of the universe? Meaning there is nothing else out there as far as other races, powerful warriors, enemies, etc. I don't mean stuff that was mentioned either I just mean hypothetically. |

1. I don't think the creators of DBZ took the otherworld too seriously; they wanted to make it funny and sort of caricatured. That's how I see it, there are many illogical things in it. 2. Agreed. I was expecting Goku to meet far more powerful foes and learn something from them, maybe win by using a trick. Not this - most of the fighters were ridiculous. 3. Well, the characters from the series have mentioned the term the whole universe several times. And Goku fought the fighters from all four quadrants in the otherworld tournament. That answers your question. |

I'll answer just question two, no I don't think it was ridiculous. At that time Goku was already SS2, he was a saiyan one of the most powerful races out there. Frieza was supposed to be the strongest in the universe as well and Goku beat him. Anyways I don't think any one that was "good" would have the capability to beat Goku, especially since all saiyans probbably went to hell. |

I guess one of my main problems is that I don't like how the power progression through the series went. It's just every new character is way stronger than the last, very straight forward. There are no parallels, it's just a straight shot to the end. Don't know if that makes sense to anyone but I'm not sure how else to explain it. I also don't like how every character seen claims to be the strongest in the universe. That's one thing I like about the movies, it gives more in-between enemies. |

In real life don't you get stronger if you keep training as time goes bye? Yes its one of thos things that seems too obvious but in reality its like that, if you keep training, you'll get stronger |

Yeah I get that. I don't disagree that they should get stronger. It just seems so one track. It's like everyone is just in a straight line according to power level and will lose to those above them and can beat the one below, and you could just fit that single file line right over the timeline. It's just too straight forward and obvious. If I'm still being too cryptic for anyone to understand I could try to come up with examples of what I mean. |

Isn't that how it goes? The ones in front of the line win in a race and the ones behind that line lose? |
