Did u even read my previews reply. There is no mention that the Potara Earring can make an overall fighter better than the fusion dance only superior in term of how they use from what we saw in the manga. From what we know of the Fusion Dance it takes practice/time to understand how it truly works and mastery of the rules/steps to actually fuse, not only that this fusion have 1 big weakness/flaw and that is time. From what we see of the Potara Earring it's simple just put them on and your ultimate fighter is born from no training/complex rules/practice/knowledge. But wait it's permanent being as its weakness is not time, wait it has no weakness. Potara Earring superior yes only because the Fusion Dance is lock down to a series of very complex rules that takes time to truly master it (Goten, Trunks took at least 1-2 week of practice to know it complex rules/flaws and true mastery of the fusion at the RoAst). So overall the fighter is EQUAL because it make no sense at all to think/say 1+1 > 1+1. If Vegito did fought Gogeta and Gogeta's biggest weakness is time then Vegito would take this battle being as the Ultimate True Fusion.

For Gogeta, the Fushion dance must be performed, and for it to work, both people must be at the same power level. So if Goku is stronger than Vegeta, he'll have to lower his power for it to work. With Vegito, power levels don't matter, you have full strength Goku and full strength Vegeta.

The Potara earings don't have that sort of limitation. And since Goku is stronger than Vegeta, the fusion using Potara would be more powerful than the fusion dance. And if it really got that close, were this to ever happen, Vegito would just have to hold out for 30 minutes. Then it's over. Imagine the sort of power Vegito would have if Goku and Vegeta got another set of Potara earings after they became SSJ4... That would rule. Edited by SSJVegito, Apr 16 2009, 10:50 PM.

Internet Exploreri Favourite Manga Dragon ball Z	thats a tuff one. if you take out the time limit on the fusion dance it is almost impossible to tell, because elder kai only said the fusion dance was stupid because of the time limit. but the power would probaly be the same. tell you what i will go on dragon ball z budokai tenchaichi 3 and do computer vs computer and use both vegito and gogeta. hopefully this will help.

Potara doesn't have that drawback. We have FP Goku and FP Vegeta. They're at their peaks. The fusion is the combination of two warriors at FP not of the same PL. Clearly Vegito. GEEZE.
