Two tricky questions..

Two tricky questions..

But in the later episodes ive found two things I find a litte bit strange and I hope you might give me good answers for them. The first question is about Trunks and Goten when they are inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train so they can beat Majin Buu. While there, im quite sure they say something like they've managed to go beyond Super Saiyan level (aka ascended Saiyans, aka SS2). But after fusing to Gotenks they are able to turn SS3 (which they had to to make a rip in the universe to go after Buu). Now, im not sure but doesnt the two fused persons have to be able to turn SS3 themselves in order to turn SS3 in their fused form? The second question I had is also about a fusion, namely Goku and Vegetas. When Goku and Vegeta meet up and Goku tells Vegeta that they must use the Potara earrings to fuse with each other Vegeta is dead (and has a halo over him). Now shoudl it even be possible to fuse with each other if one person is dead and the other is alive? And even if this could be done, what is it that says that Vegeto wouldnt end up with a halo himself (which we all know he doesnt)? Tricky questions perhaps but I just had to ask! I'll be glad if anyone is able to answer them!

Though their potential is endless, and Goku realizes this in the World Martial Arts tournament. Their training in the hyperbolic time chamber made them even stronger. When they fuse, their power joins together and their power increases dramatically. Thats why Gotenks was able to obtain SSJ 3. And in DBZ, when you die you normally lose your body. Though, Vegeta's body was kept in order to protect the world from Majin Buu. Thats why Goku and Vegeta were able to fuse, because both their bodies are functioning. Why did the halo disappear? My guess is that since one of them was alive and since they fused, they could be considered a new living being.

But still, it feels like they have to learn to become SS3 for themselves first. I mean it requires more than just power to get further beyond a Super Saiyan which you see quite well when Goku goes beyond SS for the first time and Vegeta tries the best he can to achieve the same thing. And therefore it should be the same for SS2 and SS3 I think. About Goku and Vegetas fusion I guess it doesnt matter that Vegeta is "dead" so they CAN fuse since Vegeta has gotten his body back. But that halo is still a mystery I would say...!

But that halo is still a mystery I would say...! As in the matter of fact, it's quite clear to me why Goten and Trunks must fuse to become SS2 and SS3. Like MajinShenron has already pointed out, Fusion is a technique by which two warriors merge and their powers combine, in this case creating enough power to become SS2 and SS3. If they had to master those forms previously, then Fusion would make them what, SS4 or higher :p? The whole point of Fusion is to combine powers in order to reach a new level, if the Fused form's strength was equal to one of the Fusee's, then what's the point of fusing in the first place (aren't two bodies better than one?). In this case, Trunks and Goten obviously didn't have enough power on their own. About Vegito, I don't think even the creators of DBZ had put much thought into it. There is no reason why life should prevail over death or the other way around (making Vegito appear with or without a halo) but I'm sure putting a halo on Vegito would create much more confusion than leaving one out. I for one didn't even notice that detail.

So 2 Not supers cretae a more powerfull not super? and 2 Super Saiyans fuse to create a super Saiyin but just a more powerfull, so if they were both Super Saiyin then they fused the fusion would still be super saiyin only stronger not Super Saiying 3 or anything?
