Honestly I don't see how anyone could dislike him unless they enjoy the anti-hero/villain/badass type of characters and nothing else. 16 was one of the most pure characters we saw in the series next to Goku. He looked menacing but was so warm and gentle. I think the character design and development of Android 16, although short, was very well done.

I thought that 17 was cool because he was one of the more arrogant, yet sinister villains of DBZ. 18 was cool because, as Pineapple so generously makes clear, she's a "deadly beauty". It's a cool combo to have, especially for a pair of villains. 16 seemed cool at first when he was supossed to be the ultimate Android, but was really disappointing. And yes, the reason that 16 wasn't brought back to life with the Dragonballs is because he was completely machine.

Haha! Yes, high five! 16 was a cool character. He was brave and gentle, but we really didn't get to see that much of his character, he was too quiet, which is okay but that also made him a less interesting character to know. On the other hand, 17 and 18 were all about destroying stuff, stealing and having fun, not to mention they were twin brothers and worked perfectly together, which made them the best androids ever made. And that's it.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Gantz, Berserk, One Punch Man, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Re: Monster, (no more room)	I liked him, though I think he was sort of a modern rendition of android 8 (especially since he shared a relation with Gohan kinda like 8 did with kid Goku and 16=8X2, meaning he was probably based off of him, but twice as strong kinda thing). I would have liked to see 16 in even more armor, and fight more, using special moves or somthing. I also would have liked to see Cell absorb him and aquire another form, but he was still likable anyway. it would have been nice if a lot of characters had been brought back later, and had more development, but I think certain fans were pounding at Akira's door for more Sayian action, and so he comprimised. I dunno.

Firefox Favourite Manga One Piece	I would of liked if #16 had stayed on as one of the Z-fighters. He was my favourite android. I wish we could of seen more of him. On a side note, there's a nice what-if saga in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 about Eighter and #16 (coming from the future to kill Goku) that I thought was pretty cool. Google Chrome Favourite Manga DBZ, Full Metal Alchemist	Psyam brings up a good point with 16 being 2x8, never noticed that before (in relation to the two Androids, I obviously knew 2x8 was 16 :P). 16 was a cool character, he's probably my favourite looking Android. His character also had depth to it which is quite hard to come across in DBZ.

There was this mystery about 16, you wondered about how he fit in with the others Androids. Then he doesnt do anything for ages saying he will only fight Goku but when Cell attempts to absorb 17, android 16 steps up with a smile and faces off against the bug. The Silent Warrior! This moment for me was very cool, really firing you up in anticipation, the big guy was going to fight. WAAAH!
