Dragon ball GT

i was just wondering, when i saw dragon ball GT the first thought that came to my mind was if it really was DBZ... because from my point of veiw, dragon ball GT ruined some of the taste and fun of Dragon ball series.. there was less humour and the humour that was used just wasn't funny enough as well...
As for the powers, i think they were just going overboard with Gogeta but on the other hand it had very nice and interesting fights in it, some little twist used in Baby Saga were intersting as well.. but on the overall veiw, it just doesn't stands up to the standard of the DBZ... but thats just my veiw...

What do you people think about this? :|

I actually kind of liked GT, had more diolog to it and that in my view gave it a better story. I'm more of a fan for diolog than action. Ofcourse the original Dragonball also had more diolog than DBZ.

But if you remember, the powers just kept greater and great throught the whole of Dragonball, in DBZ they got greater too so it makes sence that in GT they got greater still.

Eh, I'm not really a huge Dragonball fan or really a fan, I just watched it for fun, so yeah.

i get what you are saying =D thanks to god i am not that dumb...
anyway.... yeah i know that the powers keep going greater but in DBGT... i think they were just skyrocking... if they had kept it less i think there would have been a chance for another DB series to come out =D

Im not going to lie I liked GT, however it was no comparison to DBZ nor DB, those were the two best, but I still enjoyed GT.

I actually think

DB > GT > DBZ

Dragonball Z didn't seem to have as much of a story in my view.

They probably still could make a new one, they could give them weaker powers making up some reason why but one problem is there would be so many new charaters and the old ones would be dead or dying out, lol.

I watched alot of GT, I thought it wasn't as good as DBZ IMO. Basically because of what you said. and I just wasn't into the storyline as much, the Baby Saga was just...I dunno. I just didn't like it as much. most likely because the dude that was doing DBZ didn't do GT.

probably... but well.. you see... it was weird at a point as well, i mean if trunks was able to force baby out of his body as a super saiyan 1... wouldn't vegeta be able to take him out as well since he was at super saiyan 2... it was just... WEIRD.. and the whole black dragon ball thing, just din't seem to fit the story, i mean if kami created them, then wouldn't they ha disappeared when kami combined with picollo and if dande made them thenhe should hae been aware of them...
and one more thing, there was more of an emotional fights and more emotional feelings then there were in any DB series...

Yeah GT was; what I like to call: A lack of effort Anime. It was good but not good enough compared to DBZ. It was quite often boring, but not as bad as alot of people make it out to be though.

DB: 6/10
DBZ: 10/10
DBGT: 7/10

GT was too much of a disappointment, they made 18 turn into a ****ing housewife, I mean seriously, 18 didn't have the character to become a housewife. I feel like GT broke a bit the natural percussion of every character. Not to mention GT kept repeating everything that happened on DBZ and DB. The fight against Cell and Frieza, a new appearence of Android 17 (that ended up killing his creators... AGAIN). It wasn't original, the only good thing that came from it was the Ssj4 transformation.

DBZ was the most intense in all levels, full of action and great villains, a good humor and a lot of new elements, new transformations, new powers and attacks. Gotta love it.

Errm, I disagree with it having humour, I didn't find most of it funny in DBZ, far too much fighting and very little creative humour.

I find it much funnier than GT. Hercule for example, he was all about humour. The Ginyu Force, Gotenks and even Majin Buu. All of them had great humouristic moments. DBZ wasn't as good as DB in terms of humour but it was still pretty good and in my opinion a smarter type of humour than the one in GT.

Yeah I think DBZ had a lot of humor, Master Roshi and his perviness, Majin Buu oh he's just funny, even Super Buu is funny sometimes, goteknks, a lot of things, and Im rewatching the Buu saga so I can remember. DB was also pretty funny. GT had its humor as well. I enjoyed all three but in the end I say DBZ>DB>DBGT but thats my personal opinion :p

I'm bumping this, screw you lot.

GT, well it's pretty good, there's some nifty action in there and some originality. I mean i'll knock some of the good points out, The lost episodes were pretty good, and then into the Baby Saga which I really loved, mostly 'cause Baby was awesome. Although that's about the extent of the love for GT. Goku turning into a child, that's just stupid. Android 17 Saga, well that just sucked. I mean some of it was ok, I didn't like Cell and Frieza back though, I felt sorry for them being bitched about by child Goku. Then, i've got an issue with Pan being the main character, she just annoys me. Now lastly I think GT killed the characteristics of all the Z Fighters, Krillins an old man : O.

I'm not going to go in depth about Z, but whilst the subject of humor, I always liked Z for the small one liners that they always had in fights. Such as when Android 18 punches Vageta into a Mountain, and Trunks asks him if he's alright and he replies with,
"Off course I am, why wouldn't I be!?"
