How does Cyborg Freeza's body work?

A simple question for one to ponder. With all of the mechanical attachments now making Freeza "stronger", how exactly is he stronger?

Do to the attachments, is Freeza naturally at full power? Can his body still expand or "buff up" when (if he can) he reaches full power? Could it have been that his body no longer suffers of the ki drain his organic body had? How does ki get into the completely mechanical parts of his body? How didn't the guy die on Namek when he should have been killed after Goku's final attack on him and after the planet blew up on him?

Please, discuss.

The only guess I have on how he survived is that he had enough energy to fly far enough from the explosion. Not too sure on that. I think you're right though that the mechanics allow him to not drain ki quickly, or have an unlimited supply, but if that were the case I don't get why they don't just do that to all changlings. It's really hard to say how much stronger he was because he got killed so fast lol

From my perspective, I'd say that Frieza's body did withstand the explosion. Although I'm not sure how possible that is, that seems like the most logical thing to occur considering that there's no way he could've managed to escape the explosion. Perhaps he he didn't get to feel the full effects of the explosion, but a good amount of it certainly got him.

Tyro, the mergin of organic structures with mechanical parts could enhance or paralize a being. In order for Frieza to have become stronger with the mechanical parts merged with him, the organic cell structure and the mechanical counterparts would have to work together. Chances are, that the energy being produced by Frieza's organic cells, are refined through some mechanical process. The machinery technology used within Frieza's skeletal structure seems partially similar to what Dr. Gero used with some of his androids, although not too similar. My guess is, it'd have to operate like that to amplify Frieza's strength.

Freeza had trouble controlling himself, or his power, really, when in any state besides his third suppression. That's why he created the suppressions in the first place, to help him control his power and keep him stable, as his power greatly increases when he transforms (especially his original form). It's not clear if he means mentally stable (like he could go into a giant killing machine, or the stress from the ki could drive him insane, but for some reason he needed to suppress himself so he could have some control).

Freeza: “Or in my case…because I become so powerful that I can’t keep myself under control!”

Now it seems Freeza's body is permanently stuck in his original form due to all of the machinery. So I'm guessing somehow being half machine, or over half, actually, makes it easier to "cope" with all the power. But it certainly doesn't change his ki from what it originally felt like. Kaio-sama, Gohan, Vegeta and Kuririn could all identify Freeza when he started heading towards Earth.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I had wondered this as well, I think his survival is more concerning to me. He had lost his limbs after being brutally beaten, then got a little ki, used most of it to attack Goku, then the same ki he used AND Goku's ki which overpowered it slammed him into the ground in a large explosion, even if he got off the planet SOMEHOW he would have been consumed by the brunt of the blast and even if miraculously he lived that he would have floated bleeding to death until someone came.

Well, then there was really no need for that post, was there? Please refrain from doing such things in the future.

Tough question being as Freiza did not last long. We can always speculate though. Being as Freiza had a huge empire, with probably hundred of scientists, its probably not far reaching to say they had the best technology in the world. King Cold (looking and acting like a smart guy) who is Freiza's father probably had access to what Freiza had. He probably used it to not only save Frieza but make him into a stronger warrior. How so? Well like I said we can only speculate, but here are my theories:

Being as one of his eyes were greatly damaged, he probably has a permanent scouter. As said in a previous thread here, the scouters didn't have faults. They actually read the right power levels, but the warriors using it were to cocky and ignored it's readings. Frieza seeing a low class saiyan ascend to a super saiyan probably realized how strong warriors can be and learned to trust it. It can also help in battle in the sense that you would be able to detect where his opponent was, even if it was to fast for the naked eye.

As you can see in Freiza's ear, it has a bulge on it (more than normally). Frieza's hearing was probably enchanced able to hear things far away, and also help detect a warrior's movements.

Frieza's armor probably also aided him in storing energy. How much? Probably not much.

And lastly, the armor could be used for armor and extra reinforcement for heavy blows.

Though as we see, even these attachments are no might against a Super Saiyan.

Rampaging Explosion of Euphoric Glory!

with the same degree of technology that the androids where made of, freeza could have easily been stronger as a cyborg. while he would suffer from lack of ability to change form since he is not a transformer, lol, he would have the aid of whatever stuff they added to him. rulling half the galaxy, I'm sure between him and king cold they had the technology and resources for it. however, he was seemingly made out of the remains of his ship, since parts of him looked vary simmilar to it, and his mechanics where kinda randomly patched together like frankenstiens monster. so maybe he even had the power core from his ship, feeding him energy, or somthing like that. however he also would have been limited to whatever stuff his space ship had if he was only reconstructed using it's remains, so it's hard to assume much at this point.

In the anime a scientice states that the cybernetic enhancements would allow Frieza to assess power that he couldn't sustain in a pure organic form so that means he can increase his power level to the point where if he were to do that in his organic form he would be destroyed. So I guess after he became a cyborg he increased his power beyond that of his 100% form. The attachments don't give him more power they just allow Frieza to gain more power without overflowing his body in energy.

Simple: AT originally intended for Frieza to die on Namek, since that was going to be the end of the series. After being pressured to continue the series, he brings back Frieza to give the readers some perspective on the scope of the androids' power.

As for his cyborg body, I've discussed this on another thread. My theory is that Cold's scientists had no previous experience with prosthetics because Cold would not have wasted such resources on an underling. Frieza was, in a sense, a prototype (or guinea pig). Also, it was probably a rushed operation considering how close he was to death. I don't think it made him any stronger; he was probably just as strong as he was on Namek, but Trunks, unlike Goku, was unwilling to give Frieza a chance to power up to 100%.
