What You'll Need. Virtual Dub, ImageReady & Common Sense. I use Virtual Dub to open up the Episode/Clip i want and select the frames i need. So you might want to DL that first if you don't already have it. It's a Free DL btw. - It opens the Episode or Clip without any lag to your system. * [jb]: means this is what i did. just an example. I) First you need to make a Folder to put your selected frames into. It can be anywhere you want, as long as you can find it. [jb]: My Documents >> Gifs so i save my frames in there, once I'm done with that clip i erase it to empty the folder instead of make a new folder every single time i make an Animated Gif. II) So, after you have the clip you want select you frame you want, using the Mark In & Mark Out buttons ![]() Use the Mark In to select where you want the clip to begin & Mark Out where you want it to end. Quick Note. I you select more the 300 frames you comp will, WILL slow down quite a bit when you try to open up your frames in IR. Your choice if you use more than 300 frames. III) This is where you're Premade folder comes into play, Save your selected frames: File >> Save As AVI or you can just press F7 [jb]: F7, Saved as: Bleach 042 now over to ImageReady. IV) Now, to open your frames in IR: File >> Import >> Folder As Frames V) Resize is, to 100x100 - Image >> Image Size. BTW to make it 100x100 you need to make sure Constrain Proportions isn't hight lighted. VI) You'll notice that your gif isn't at the right speed, this is because VDub duplicates alot of frames, now you have to go through your gif and erase all duplicated frames, to get it up to the correct speed You may find alot of frame are actually unnecessary so you can just remove them, like certain movements for example. Do so until you're satisfied with the finished product and then you're free to modify as you wish. VII) Now all you have to do is Save it. File >> Save Optimized As and you're done :lee: [jb]: So after Optimazation/Removing duplicated & Unnecessary frames i cut the Bleach 042 frames from 289 frames to 53 frames
