 Seriously this confuses me a lot. I mean you got regular #17 saying he's the best android. Then 1st form cell shows up being all superior and stuff saying he's the best. Then you got #16 who like beats the ***** out of 1st form Cell and then there's 2nd form cell who can get beaten up by Vegeta in his next SSJ form. Then there is Android's 14, 15 and 13 who can all get beaten up by super saiyans and stuff until you get Super Android #13 or whatever. You got Perfect Cell and then there is Super #17 as well!

Seriously who is the best?!

Training hard !!

 The ultimate undroid is Super 17 if you consider the anime story line, as Dr.Gero states this himself.

But if you follow the manga, then Perfect Cell is the most powerful andorid.

 In Dragonball Z it would have to be Super 13/Android 13 and in GT it would be Super 17.

 Android 18 is the perfect android 8) (you knew it was coming lol). Ahah jk, she is in fact the best android to me, but the most powerful and complete one is definitely Super 17.
Still, there is no perfect android, I'd say that the most effective type of android is the one that is like Android 16. He just seems to have less weak points b/c of not being half human and not being the absortion type. Still, if you destroy any part of his body, chances are that he gets unable to fight or even move properly, and ends up paralyzed, like he did when Cell destroyed half of his head.

I'd say the most balanced android is the one who has this unlimited battery or whatever that gives the android energy, medium size to keep a certain speed, and the one who is not entirely android, which means he/she can improve his/her human skills and get stronger with training.

But anyway, Super 17 is the one who comes closer to perfection.

Super 17 (Anime) > Super Perfect Cell (Manga) > Super Android 13 > Android 16 > Android 17 > Android 18 > Androids 14 & 15

 Yep, oh you forgot Androids 19, 20 and 8 :rofl:

And there's only a slight difference between Android 17 and Android 18, as well as between Androids 14 and 15, so I'd put it like this:

Super Android 17 (Anime) > Super Perfect Cell (manga) > Super Android 13 > Android 16 > Androids 17/18 > Androids 14/15 > Android 20 > Android 19 > Android 8

 Whenever 17 stated he was the strongest in the world 18 never interfered. Her herself made some slight suggestion 17 was the stronger one, but, it'd probably only be by a very slight amount.

So, I guess you could classify them like that. Doing so like that, would make your timeline accurate Pineapple.

 I know 17 is stronger, there's a slight difference between their power levels, it is clear in the story. But they were always known as being very similar in terms of speed, strenght, techniques, and of course, physically. It comes from the idea of being twins, Akira probably wanted them to be on the same spot because of that.

Android 19 was almost twice as powerful as Android 20 (Gero).

For what reason do you guys state that Android 17 is stronger than 18? They are equal in strength, speed, and power. The only reason 18 never contradicted 17 when he said he was the strongest, was because she was smart enough not to. Did 16 contradict 17? Of course not! He knew he was stronger than 17, but he didn't say anything (perhaps acting on 18's que of silence).

EDIT: Whoops, almost forgot to say who the perfect android was. As far as brute strength and power, Super 17 was the strongest. However, his strength was at a fixed level, and he had no Saiyan cells in him like Cell did. In addition, he could not regenerate body parts like Cell could. Cell had the potential to become more powerful than Super 17. So, I'd say Cell was indeed perfect, as far as body functions, techniques, and potential go.

How was Android #19 twice as strong as Cyborg #20? #20 indirectly states that he himself is stronger than #19.

In the back of the manga there is a little chart stating info about all of the Androids and Cyborgs Dr. Gero has created. It states #18's power as "suppressed" when compared to #17.

 Indeed Super 17 is the strongest android throughout the whole series but that dosen't make him the "perfect android"
there is only 2 perfect androids when it comes to me,
Cell (perfect), he kills a majority of big names,

Goku
Trunks-Comes Back
17
18
16
Piccolo-Comes Back,

and 16,
16 was to be the perfect model as gero said in the manga but since 17 released early he was'nt full programed or ready to circum what he would've,

 Half the people mentioned here aren't androids.

#13 - Android (Unless something was said in the Japanese version, which I haven't watched. Anyone care to check for me? ^^)

#16 - Android
#17 - Cyborg
#18 - Cyborg

Cell - Organic life form

"Super 17" - Half cyborg, half machine mutant (right?)

So really neither of the major contestants (Cell, Super 17) are androids at all.
