Is there a loss of originality in languages now-adays? Like instead of a whole different word the word it is used in other languages is used?

it's always been that way, well as long as two differant languages have interacted.

When instead of creating a word for an imported item that they just use the same word as the other countries have

Because a lot of countries don't have a word for that thing. For languages that use symbols like Japenese, they might not be able to build up a word for somthing because of the way the language works. Some English words don't translate into Japenese and just stay English because of this.

Yeah that's true. Some countries don't have the word to explain what is being said. Also, many languages originated from latin. Of course, they are going to have similar words to one another.
