What Browser do you use? internet explorer Favourite Manga eyesheild21	I personaly think Goten's the coolest other than Goku in DragonBallZ. I mean he's like Goku when he was a kid! HE's just as funny as Goku also. And he even looks like him! I think Goten's really cool!

They're both half saiyan, much like Gohan....and HE had a tail. Is it something to do with the fact that their fathers were super saiyans when they were concieved?

Its a reasonable hypothesis, since it fits all the facts.....but there is no direct proof for it. And i believe they say their "true power" comes from their tails, because without them they cant transform into Oozarus. This could be concidered their "true power" since any saiyan can do it. Where as turning SSJ requires (by a full blooded saiyan)..decades of training.

Posts: 381 Group: Member Member #2,056 Joined: February 4, 2007	i'm one of those people that believe the anti-tail theory and for most it doesn't take decades oftraining just something the believe in or must defend with all their heart and supressing their anger enough to just snap and become a super saiyan (ie. goku- defending friends + krilens death + destroying freeza) for vegeta how ever it did take decades of training XD, and broly doesn't count he was basicly born a super saiyan, i also believe that half saiyans transform easier because they feel more emotion that the fullblooded saiyans that are ruthless killing machines, and therefore can become truly angry enough to snap more easily

He trained his entire life to get to the level of super saiyan. As for the kids....well none of them are full blooded saiyans, and most of them were born when their fathers were already super saiyans. I dont think its down to emotional control......more genetic. Being half saiyan, half human was the reason gohan was so powerfull. The saiyan blood got stronger because it was diluted, and eventually passed down Super Saiyan DNA to Goten and Trunks. I mean, Goten was born with Super Saiyan DNA because his father was a Super Saiyan. The fact he was born with it, is what made turning Super Saiyan easier. By this we can also predict that any kids of Goten or Trunks would also be super saiyans at early ages.

These thoughts were also my reason for starting the thread about female super saiyans, pointed toward Bra and Pan. You would have thought their father's Super Saiyan DNA would have helped them transform to. Going back toward Goten, I liked him more as a kid. He had a fun personality like his father and his fusion with Trunks was awesome. Goten and Trunks were like Mini-Mes of Goku and Vegeta so it was cool to have them there. I prefer kid goten over kid trunks though. Which is funny cause I like future Trunks over adult Goten. Ah well, I like em both. lol

Posts: 381 Group: Member Member #2,056 Joined: February 4, 2007	goku may have trained his entire life up to the point that DBZ started but itwasn't til king kai trained him til he actualy stood a good chance against saiyans at all. cause on earth goku was always fighting minor villians until saiyans came along then he had to find ways to become 10x stronger, or 15x stronger for the next villians....ect goku never had reasons to be that angry and to supress all of his anger into the pit of his stomach and just snap. cause on earth the story was basicly...new villian foundgoku punchs goku uses kamehameha goku wins....

His whole life has been training.....yeah he had to snap in order to become a super saiyan. But he had to train too. By your logic he could be a couch potato....and just snap because his belly gets in the way of the Tv. He wouldnt turn super saiyan then. He needs to be buffed up too......turning super saiyan is about mind AND body.

Posts: 381 Group: Member Member #2,056 Joined: February 4, 2007	XD thats not what i meant but i see what you mean XD what i meant was that even with goku's power from training for years he couldn't beat a low level saiyan like raditz, that had like no hope of becomin ssj at his level at all. because all his earth training was nothing compared to what the saiyans did.

Sure he was saiyan, but he was raised on human standards. He still became the strongest on Earth, by a pretty safe margin. Also he was just a lower class saiyan.....his power level was low amoung saiyans, thats why he was sent out in the first place. ANYWAY...wasnt this topic about Goten?
