Just so we're clear, this is not about Goku's mom. It's about the possibility of why some believe female Saiya-jins couldn't turn SSj.

...And please, try to keep the spam down...Back on topic.

.......i say it's cause the females lack the balls to fight and train hard enough....XD......anyways the females just don't become super saiyans because they lack the physical and mental strength required

so the next best thing to deleting my posts is vandalizing them

Training hard !!

I dont beleive female gender of the saiyan race can become super saiyans.
It's that they don't have that paotential, i just beleive biologically, their body just can't.

As for Pan. The 7th book of the Daizenshyuu's states that 1/4 Saiya-jins could not go Super Saiya-jin because their saiya-jin blood is too diluted. Pan is a 1/4 Saiya-jin so she could not become an SSJ.

Bra could have gone SSJ if she trained a lot, which she didn't...

Vegeta and Goku Jr. contradict the daizenshyuu's when they both go SSJ as 1/16 and 1/8 saiya-jin respectivly, only because Akira did not design them or do GT

Okay, so I agree with the whole 1/4 can't turn Super Saiyan bit, but that does leave the posibility for female Saiyans like Bra to transform. If she had taken a liking to training/fighting, there's a great posibility that she could have reached Super Saiyan like her brother Trunks.

I don't think Super Saiyan has anything to do with the psychie. I believe as long as you have a full fledged or at least half saiyan rather they be male or female, as long as they have the right amount of training, and have the right motivation whatever it may be, they have the ability to transform. Now that's not to say their transformations would look exactly the same, but they'd still be Super Saiyan regardless.

Believe It!

Read the middle sentance again, I say Bra could reach SSJ

You all seem to forget that the original SSJ legend was that there was one Super Saiya-jin every 10,00 years, might be 1,000 i'm just being lazy. Not every Saiya-jin can reach SSJ, especially not Bra who probably never fought a day in her life

Watch it, I was flamed and screamed at by Hotprchichi for saying stuff like that, even if I said sorry at the end. The women here are very sensitive to this stuff, so be nice in these types of topics.

..... okay lol
but istill say it's an ability all saiyans have the ability to become saiyans but the females lack the muscular and metal strength to supress all their energy to the very pit of their stomach and transform

The answer to this question is completely up for grabs. There is no way to tell if they could or couldn't; it is just a matter of opinion or what you want to believe.

So until Toriyama answers it for us, we will never know for sure.
But IMO I think if they trained as hard as the males, there is no reason that they shouldn't be able to.

the one thing is that they'd need to train much harder to even match the males in muscles alone, since males develope muscle more easily than females

Agreed.....ultimately we could debate this for years and still be no closer to an answer.

And since there is little proof for any arguement....we seem to be kinda going around in circles.

true i've already probably used the same argument 2-3 times XD, so lets call it a truce cause theres no way to really prove either side right or wrong it's all just based on oppinion

Training hard !!

Do we really need female super saiyans anyway !?

Honestly, by the end of the series, everyone other than goku and vegeta (barely) got their buts handed to them.

We all know the female saiyans are weaker, so would they have really made a difference ?
I don't think so.
So it doesn't really matter all together.

It took the loss of someone really close, or intese emotion to feul the reaction that is becoming a super saiyan.

We saw pan go through some hard times in GT. She lost her grandfather at one point (so she thought) and just ended up crying and whining.
Super saiyan material ?

I think NOT.

And how do we know that? We only really saw one saiyan in action, and that was Pan, and she was in GT, so she wasn't even canon anyway.

Not canon. Doesn't count.

EDIT: Wups. Didn't notice what section this was in. Guess this post can be void.
