I'll admit it, I'm a huge fan of DBGT but it could've been a lot better. The sagas should've all been longer with some better explanations to some of the stories. I would've loved for GT to have still been on to this very day but it isn't. I'd love for it to get a reboot but that won't happen. |

GT would have been better if: Pan was DEAD Videl was DEAD Cell and Frieza were more of a threat and drawn better Gohan wasn't a scholar Vegeta never grew that moustache Goku wasn't a kid Super Saiyan 4 was more believable as a Super Saiyan transformation |

Here is the thing. GT had great potential, they had great ideas and storylines but the way they handled them made them failures. Great concept but it didn't work. There were too many plot holes in the series. Kid goku was just overpowered beyond beleive. He sent Super Android 17 flying when Oob, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks and Goten couldn't do crap to him. How is that possible when Oob did much better against Baby Vegeta then ss3 kid goku? Big plot hole right there. Another problem is how they made goku 100% the star of the show without giving any of the other charecters any development. DBZ gave more then just goku a chance to shine, especialy dragonball. It gave everyone a chance to shine. Sure you can say that Vegeta acheived SS4 but what is the point if they ruined his charecter with that. Vegeta would never use a machine to get power, in the end he didn't do anything besides the fusion anf getting his butt kicked in his ss4 state. Can anyone explain to me also how and why gohan was able to turn Super Saiyan in GT? What happened to his mystic powers? Edited by Tenshinku, Jul 2 2009, 03:40 AM.

you think so man? I don't think GT had any potential whatsoever. Because coming off the heels of two very good animes. Arguably two of the best animes of all time, arguably! GT should have been less than decent. But it sucked, what do you expect, you can't have a good anime with bad writers and bad gfx designers. |

Sort of. I think it had a great concept with the plots and story but just didn't work out in the end with the way they decided to handle them. Although the Super Android 17 ark didn't even have a good concept.

Really, there was nothing to great about the concept. I mean, Bebi was unoriginal, 17 arc, been there done that, then what!? The super 7 dragons and ss4!? nah. If anything the very first saga of DBGT is what I remeber enjoy watching, but hey it's been so long. Now that made me feel old

If I may state my ideas then so be it here they are DBGT COULD HAVE been better if they gave each character their own part to the story.They messed it up with Vegeta cause they made hm skip straight to Super Saiyan 4 without going to Super Saiyan 3! The whole Vegeta using a machine in order to achieve Super Saiyan 3 isn't in his nature it would've been better watching SSJ Gogeta continue to transform until he reached SSJ4 when he fought Omega Shenron! As far as fusions go where the hell was gotanks at in the ******* series? Yes they may have had 1 fusion character in GT but come on what about a 2nd shot at seeing Vegito? What would've made DBGT BETTER is if Vegito made a comeback as Super Saiyan's 2/3 & 4! Another thing that would've surely made DBGT BETTER, IS IF THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED A SUPER SAIYAN 5 & FUSION TO GO WITH THAT STATE! The thing that really messed DBGT up is the SSJ4! It was never confirmed on IF you indeed had to be a pure blooded saiyan to achive this,so to be sure they should've wished Gohan Goten Trunks Pan & Bulla into full blooded saiyans! Just my thought! & also the fact that the GT storyline was to small ****ed it up even more! As you all know they should've actually went up to SSJ6 being as though SSJ4 made it's first appearance in 1997 in Dragon Ball GT:Final Bout! |

I didn't like the hella short story arcs, [especially] Pan, and Goku being a child. Not to mention the inconsistencies from DBZ... But I liked the art overall. It wasn't quite up to par with the last few episodes of Z but it was better overall. And really even though Goku conquered all in GT, he did in one way or another in Z anyway. This was just less subtle. And without Future Trunks or Vegito, there isn't anyone I'd rather have save the day.  I'm going to get so much flack for this but whatev. I don't like Gohan; and Vegeta always was second to Goku anyway. Even admittedly. The only time he really shined was his plan to beat Buu. But he needed Goku for that anyway. i agree with all. but they should have either spread the events out or add more. and the reason kid goku beat androind #17 is because he finally understood his powers and unleashed his fury. the others couldn't acheive such power as goku could because goku"s father was (supposedly i think can't remember)supreme saiyan and king of saiyans. correct me if im wrong!(im open for people to prove me wrong! |

Dragonball GT could have been better. If it didn't exist. Nothing flowed and it was horrendous, it destroyed the Dragonball Image. |

well it wasnt horrendous necifix but... it did drop the image of dranball z but all in all it was entertaining i mean it wasnt great or even good but it was fair? |

I used to like Dragonball GT but when i watched Dragonball Z it was like someone knows what they where doing with there characters and i believe Dragonball GT including the movie have been rushed. Dragonball GT should be done by akira toriyama and keep super saiyan 4 style to way it is and come up with a villian that is better then Baby because Tuffles were destroyed by the saiyan long time ago by king vegeta. |

Personally I thought GT Goku was more annoying than Pan. Videl being dead wouldn't make much of a difference in GT. She's barely says anything. What were you expecting Gohan to be? GT did have potential. They had a lot to work with; new characters, new worlds to explore, and a few interesting plot ideas. They just handled it poorly(rushed) and relied too heavily on old concepts. |
