This issue came up a few moments ago in one of my posts, I thought I should bring it to the attention of everyone
If you have an idea that doesn't change the forum itself, i.e adding new sections or changing parts, then feel free to put your idea in action, so long as it doesn't brake any rules, you can go ahead and do it without Admin approval. If you require added sections for your idea, then you may open a new forum designed for that. For example, if I wanted to make a dedicated GFX Render team but need a few sections for it, the way around that is: 1) Set up a forum designed for this, with link-back to this forum. 2) Make a topic about your idea in the appropriate section, so my Render forum would go in the GFX section. 3) Make sure you keep the topic upto date with new updates and such, so my Render topic would feature the top ten renders of the week for example. If you don't require a seperate forum, then just go ahead with your idea in the appropriate section. If you are wanting to start a compertition or award, this you will need approval for, but it should get done anyway, I like the idea of compertitions and awards, so long as you can tell me what your idea is and what prizes are neended, then I will facilitate for that (you just can't offer post count increase). If your compertition means adding the winner to a new group, I will do that. Once again, your topic will go into the appropriate section. Any questions, please post here
