hahhaa yeah the no eyebrows does that it looked better on the eyes when Goku transformed and just had long hair with eyebrows. |

I haven't read all the posts so sorry if I say something that's been proven wrong. I think Vegeta could have become a SSJ3. I beilive that Goku was able to do it because he learned it in other world, where he did not have the limitations of a body. Once he had discovered it, he could use it in the living realm, for a brief time. Gotenks could go SSJ3 because he is a fusion character, and has much more energy then most single fighters. I don't believe that you need a calm mind to become a SSJ3, as Gotenks was able to be one. Even Vegeta is more mature then Gotenks, who coulden't even fight properly without screaming out names of random fancy attacks, even when the world depended on him. Simply put, I think that if Vegeta had trained in other world, against other strong fighters, and with no limitations he could have reached SSJ3 as Goku did. I do not think that Goku being stronger then Vegeta to do it is true, as when they have been on equal SSJ levels, they've been equal, maybe even with Vegeta being slightly stronger (as in the Android saga). |

he did in the andriod saga vegeta was pretty powerful against 19 and was stronger than Goku even without the heart virus weakening goku |

No one in the series can/ever will. Toriyama wanted to have Gohan become stronger than his father, but he received too many complaints from fans who wanted Goku to remain the strongest/main character. So Vegeta, as well as everyone else, will always be one step behind him.
He was also stronger in their first fight, if I remember correctly. Gohan(Great Ape) defeated Vegeta with a little help from Yajirobe. Goku would have lost. Edited by Larxene, Nov 10 2008, 10:17 PM.

Vegeta actually admits that he will never surpass Goku at the end of the Buu Saga. I think in the end they both have a mutual respect for eachother and could even be called friends lol |

vegeta had to of eventually reached ssj3, i mean he did reach ssj4 which is far beyond ssj3 and he must of increases his power enough |

didnt vegeta get where trunks was like super trunks but it was called super vegeta he also had ss2 and ss4 i dunno if super vegeta is basically ss3 but it could be seeming as it runs in the family with trunks aswell correct me if i am wrong like ulitmate gohan is a advance form of super sayin much stronger so wouldnt that class as being the same as ss3 ?? because he did reach ss2 |

it was because SSJ3 is a completely different form then SSJ1 and 2. the first 2 states of super saiyan are brought on by pushing yourself to the limits and then having an immense emotional surge. SSJ3 however is brought on by intense training. in other words it is more of a forced transformation, much like super super saiyan and the ultra super saiyan states that were attained by goku, vegeta, and trunks while training to fight cell. this being said, the reason that vegeta could attain SSJ4 was because he simply met the requirements for it before making the requirements for SSJ3 |

didn't he have a machine to help him do it and when it got destroyed he couldn't become one again? I mean that says to me he doesnt meet the requirements and this whoile stufft hat Vegeta couldn't handle SSJ3 is kind of hard to believe seeing as he could have used the hyperbolic time chamber to train in or his gravity room, wouldn't those type of settings be enough against Earths restrictions to allow him to become SSJ3 |
